I wouldn't say its his job to lead the GDT, but he does have the authority to make decisions relating to the team. Keep in mind that Skyld is busy with other projects and uni work right now so it wouldn't be reasonable to expect him to keep up with his other duties and run the team.
if he could though, that'd be awesome =D
