Well as far as this goes, clumptytail isnt jigga according to clumptytail. And he did it because he had such a bad reputatin for his constant server ideas that always fail.

The question is, why wasn't he allowed to do so before being ragged on by everyone? Then being laughed at, "haha, you wasted your money on a new account, we wouldn't let you try to start over again!"

As I said above. The worst part of someone trying to start fresh when they are getting attacked is that staff with RC will tell the whole community that they checked IP's. This is totally wrong, and an invasion of privacy. I am trying to put a stop to this.

I talked to him on GK..he really didn't seem to care. I should have mentioned when i steered him towards the forum to look for people to help where he should have went. My bad.

it is also common sense to not attack people on the forums just because you don't like the way they post, or they don't follow the rules. It is common sense that the moderators can deal with these issues, and the members do not need to flame them.

How about giving some examples of that happening? These are the Graal forums and we will take advantage of almost any opportunity to take each other on, but "oldbies" aren't somehow immune to having this happen to them. Your signup date means a bit, but it doesn't mean much. The "group" that you're in (staff "group", Kaimetsu "group", chaos propagating "group", etc.) is way more important than how long you've been around.

If people look down on it, thats fine, thats why Games come with an ignore feature and a GP Team. As long as im keeping it within respectable bounds then what is the problem?

Sure you can act that way, but it doesn't (or shouldn't) warrant any kind of respect from other mature individuals.

I find myself to be a highly respectable individual when the situation warrants it, and I dont instigate with people to get respect as ive said before, its just funny when you do some things to watch the reactions of people, such as below.

There is really no excuse for not knowing the rules of a forum before you post.
There have been much worse threads of the community "tearing a member apart".
I have complained about this many times before.

1) The community needs to be a little more understanding and helpful to new members.

2) New (and old) members should familiarize themselves with the rules of the forum befrore they post.

Most people don't read rules, thery just open the page once, say "aha fine..." close the browsertab and are happy with it.

Its frustrating for a new member - and graalonline needs new members - if a critic is harsh like this for no reason. Theres a nice way to tell your criticism, without ripping the new person apart.

My example:

"Hello xxx!

Its nice that you are interested in hosting a Server on this nice game, but you have to follow certain rules which are xxx and xxx.
If you follow these rules iam sure that your chances improve to get nice people for your server."

But not:

"Omg follow rules, you criminal! Closed! Never try writing here again!"

Do you really expect a member to stay in the community if you behave like this? I wouldn't expect it.

I haven't seen any moderator act like this. I have always seen them closing the thread, and asking them to read the rules. I haven't seen any moderator being rude about it as you have stated there. That example is something I have seen quite frequently from members, not moderators.
I am assuming you are talking about moderators here, since you said "closed", and the only people who can close threads are moderators.

+ this game is still more or less for kids. So you can't expect anyone to behave mature in these forums.
