God you sound like Stephen (Sorry Stephen for comparing you to gambet, I have nothing personally against you).

But would it be so hard for you guys to just, I dunno, say what you mean in ONE POST. Rather then saying something, opening your mouth, stuffing your foot in there, and having to try to back out of it later? (Not that Stephen has done this, but some of his posts are complicated on my brain, and he clears them for someone later).

I know I cant be the only one on this forum that knows why THIS part is funny.

Gambet just quit posting here if all you are looking for is trouble, some of us are trying to have an adult discussion.

I'm not backing away from anything.

I love how you're trying to hide the fact that you misinterpreted my post, and thus, don't want to admit your own stupidity.

I should know the intentions to my own posts, thanks. Don't try to argue with me about it, because if you actually took a second to think about it, you'd realize how stupid you'd be to bother arguing with me about my own intentions on my own post.

Shut the **** up and let us get on with this discussion and not have a another thread derailed because of you insisting and making an idiotic argument thats almost completely unrelated, and fully not worth it.

You too Inferno.

Just ignore him. If you keep responding and quoting him, he will keep bickering for the attention he's crying for. On to the topic.

Have you guys not learned by now that your means of approaching rules and so forth thus far has failed miserably, and continuing to approach them in such ways will only result in failure?

They say that history repeats itself but God it seems to repeat itself everyday on these forums.

Learn from your failures and move on to a new method, maybe then you'll probably get what you want.

Yes, because if I don't 'stoop down to your level', then I'm clearly an enemy and should be bashed for not agreeing with you guys?

But wait, this was supposed to be an adult conversation, wasn't it?

That's what the topic was originally about. The fact that people are always told to use the Support Centre but it doesn't work. Perhaps the thought it, "How can I ask to improve the Support Centre when the Support Centre doesn't seem to work?".

Self righteousness, arrogance and ignorance are not helpful traits in these forums. Be helpful, not dismissive of the players who are on exactly the same level as you are.

I'm sure this is already done but perhaps an audit is needed to be done on the Support Centre. Closely examine it's use and effectiveness during a period of time. As for possible corruption amongst those that have access to the Support Centre, a notice should be made that you can indeed skip straight to Unixmad with such claims, provided you have some sort of evidence.

You do ignore them.

You don't understand a thing I say because you don't have the mentality for it, thus, it's the same thing as ignoring what I'm trying to state since your posts are all biased towards me regardless of what I say.

And quite frankly, I don't care.

Do you know why you're sent to the support center? Ever thought of that?

The globals barely have any rights. Most of the problems can only be dealt with by the higher administration.

This is a business, don't tell the administration to higher some player as a global administrator, else you'll get the whole Nemesis episode again (not that I personally had anything wrong with him, since we got along, but we all know what he did...).

Stefan doesn't trust people with rights.

To deal with problems. Now think logically: What would players think about when they intend to complain about the current state of the support centre:
"hmm I shall use what I perceive to be an inefficient system to complain about it's inefficiency!"

or

"Perhaps I can bring this up in the forums in a hope some nice and well thought about arguments / discussions occur on the subject."

The support center is currently your best way of getting help from the people that can actually help you unless you have personal contacts with Stefan, unixmad, and/or Ibonic.

You're basically asked for the administration to devote their lives to reading the forums (more in-depth then they current do), which isn't logical nor realistic.

If thats the best way, then that must mean that you get no response ever in all of eternity with the other methods.

I know Stefan reads these forums. Moonie definitely does and she can have influence.

The point it Gambet, don't be so quick to shut down everything. Give ideas a chance. You're too fast to dismiss any persons thought with a dismissive insult aimed at their intelligence compared to your own.

I don't mind these forums as long as personal insults are left out, bashing doesn't occur and pure ignorance is left out as well. Well thought out ideas with informative responses are good.

When Stefan gets on a server, he gets 2130123012302130 PMs.

Chances are, he'll miss a few important PMs due to all of the crap PMs that he gets with people bothering him.

He doesn't use email, though he PROBABLY has some form of a chat messenging system, but obviously he wouldn't give it to anyone (at least I know unixmad has ICQ).

Stefan probably also gets countless forum PMs a day, most of which he doesn't even read since I have a few PMs that have been unread for years now.

I mean really, the Graal administration just isn't big enough, nor do they have to cash to have a professional team.

Perhaps the suggestion about the empowerment of the current forum administrator is a good idea then. If Moonie can make decisions based on what she thinks is best for all, it's less to worry about for Unixmad / Stefan.

There are issues that Ibonic can't even handle, why would they give more rights to Moonie, who isn't even a global?

Empowerment as a forum administrator. Moonie has said countless times she often needs to get Unixmad's approval for actions. If these requests are repetitive in nature, perhaps Moonie could receive empowerment for these actions so she does not need to wait/disturb Unixmad. This would not extend very far at all beyond the forums.

One idea to promote change and development in this forum.

Can we get some moderation on Gambet I think in this thread he has called us "stupid" "idiotic" and "retarted" isnt that worse then *****, that should be 3 infractions and a ban, but then again im not a moderator.

I dunno what else to say, I really dont. I feel like im fighting a battle I know im going to lose here but I feel its also importaint that everyone gets to voice their opinion otherwise there is no chance for improvement at all.

Never said I thought she could, just said I would hope she could. Her age is actually a disadvantage, because this isn't her generation. She's a bit clueless at times.

Meh. The way I look at it, this forum's a little podunk town off the interstate. The mayor's also the sheriff, deputy, and undertaker. If you get caught littering in her county, it's the lockup for you - and don't bother appealing to the mayor, the mayor agrees with the sheriff. If you got a problem with it, well, the mayor's just doing her duty as handed down by the president of the yew-nited states of God Bless America, and until he changes his mind she's gonna lock you up.

For such people as get locked up, a travesty has taken place - this mayor needs to excercise some authority and let them loose: littering's too small an offence, and besides [extenuating circumstances here] - but she won't, she's not about to go against the President. Then the Governor, or the Senator, or even the State Representative should excercise some authority - but amazingly, the mayor doesn't report to anyone like that. Heck, maybe the Mayor's the Governor too.

I don't care who makes the decisions, I really don't. Moonie, Sam, Ibonic, Lyndzey, Galen, heck even Olorin, but Somebody needs to be available to sit in adjudication of rule conflicts instead of our trusty admin-bot enforcing them all because "These are Unixmad's rules."

Umm, she should have the rights already. I think she just refers to unixmad because it's his business and it should be ran how he wants it, thus I see perfectly why Darlene refers to unixmad for approval for certain actions and so forth.

I mean really, what more "power" does Darlene need on the forums? She should already have the rights to do just about everything anyways, I think it's just a matter of making sure things are fine with unixmad first, which again, is highly understandable as long as unixmad keeps in touch with her often (or vice versa).

Your saying that because hes taking heat off you, delete his post now do your job since he is off topic. Or does it not apply when they are sucking up to you?

Can you explain how he is offtopic?
The original post was about using the support center with complaints about the mods. The whole thread has been discussing the mods, the support center, and so on. So how is he offtopic?
Gambets first reply in this thread was in reply to someone saying that the community wants me removed, so who actually went offtopic? There seems to be more than one topic in this thread, but is all tied in together.

I was hoping my intepretation was right but sadly no. Change is actively discouraged here by all members of upper administration. would seem.

Oddly enough the forum community hates Gambet as well for being a stuck up prick who tries to suck up. And why dont you be a good Mod then and go hit him up with about 3 infractions for the insults he was spitting out. Or wait are you not going to ban him like you did me in the Mac thread because he is more or less "on your side."

Yes, I'm a suck up because I don't have the same mindset as you?

I don't need people to like me to make sense. My points have been backed up (from Darlene herself), I don't see any of your points holding any validity.

Consider me what you want, but I speak what I feel. If you knew anything about me, which you don't, you'd know that I too have spoken up against the administration, countless of times, but Darlene knows that I'm reasonable and I try to see things from both sides, thus why I believe she has some form of respect for me, as I do to her, since she does nothing wrong except for enforcing the rules.

Malinko was a suck up, not me.

If I have to risk my own pride to fit in with you guys, then I'd rather not. In fact, I don't want to associate with people as yourself that just bad mouth everyone who doesn't have your same views.

Then again, I don't even know you, and for good reason too, since from the little that I do know of you, I wouldn't want to associate myself with you anyways. It's a shame that the general Graal population is seen in a negative perspective from the administration because of people like you that just ramble on about what you feel should be done and you continue until what you want is done, else, you'll cry about it and insult the administration for doing a bad job.

You sicken me.

Eh, I wouldn't call Gambet a suck up. A prick, perhaps - but he's got his own opinions, even if they're not always right... but he always thinks about it. So he's definately not a big trouble maker.
