Apparently English isn't your first language, and it's already hard enough to tell if someone is being sarcastic over a forum unless they use the "" smiley.

If Not then make the price like drop a little (We are in a bad economic situation and a lot of the children's parents may not be so willing to allow their children to through $40+ dollars towards a game in a time like this)
I wouldn't be okay paying $60 in the current state. MMORPG's need the massive multiplayer part to be successful. Cyberjoueurs has racked up enough dough to keep Graal going, but I'm almost sure it's not that much of a real profit. If Graal was less money (or the old "per month" "per 3 month" "per 6 month" "per year" to make it seem like less money, while also making it a bit less) then I'm sure more people would subscribe, bringing in even more cash, and also more people that will tell their friends who will tell their friends, etc.
Good point about the economy though, especially for people in college paying that much (though I'm not all too sure about that, seeing as I'm still only in 8th grade).

A good point. And there are much better-presented games to entertain yourself with to buy, even ones for free.

If you want to complain about the massively multiplayer aspect of Graal that isn't there, you have to take this much further than the forums specifically for Graal Kingdoms. No server is massively multiplayer and none of them ever will be. On a more personal basis, the only reason I play is because my computer cannot handle anything else. And I can barely run Graal.

The price of graal does rival those of MMORPG's and Xbox Live... It's pretty ridiculous to say the least.

Graal, if it was to be set in a direction, should focus on advertising itself more, offering cheaper deals UNTIL we pick up member count and can actually demand a higher joining fee. GK and Zone should be made the main products, cash cows if you like. I can imagine GK and zone needing to expand into several sub-servers to cope with a large amount of players. But alot of development, especially in GK would need to be done before it can be marketed like this. Zone is much easier to market.

If they make it cheaper then raise the prices again, won't the playercount decline and end up eventually in a situation like it's in now? If I was paying for a game annually for £20, and they raised it to £40 when I don't think it's worth £40 then I would leave and I imagine quite a few others would too. This is why people aren't paying now as the prices have went up for some people.

Actually Tig I did the QFT because most parents don't even realize that sms could be used for this. I mean they would find out when they got the bill but by then its too late and the gelats are already spent.

@James: I'm 30 and my parents live over 300 miles away. How am I spoiled?

Again, I don't care how old you are or how far your parents live away from you. Why are you quoting a statement for truth when it's not the truth? Circumstances vary, some parents may care, but a lot of kids would be punished. I've already said this.

The amount of content (good and bad) might increase due to more players (and bring in more), and more players will raise chances of them knowing how to model 3D objects, etc.
You get the idea, it might, or might not, raise the amount of good content coming in. That's why they'd increase the price a bit at a time to see what happens.

Lets not make it non gold instead lets give new players a gold trial period or each new computer that signs up a free gold period for them to test out the servers and stuff and if they enjoy it they can subscribe if not then they can stay trials

Agreed. Even though i still live with my parents, p.s. am only 15
anyway ya i live with my parents and i know they'd be angry if i stole from them thats why the sms system is really idiotic because it could result in a dedication in players, due to parents blocking them off from the game with firewalls or etc

lol @ people who say they're happy with the 20 or so tops players that play on GK. A close-knit community is no excuse to not try to expand the playerbase. Sorry, but you can keep your close-knit community even if there are 100 people.

I didn't say they lower the price and immediately shoot it back up when the playercount picks up.
What i'm saying is the price gets lowered, stays that way for a long period of time, when the player count is substantially high, a gradual (def not +£20) increase in price like an extra £1.50 each time they bump it up (for good reason) and i feel the max Graal sub should even be is £25-£30 PA. It shouldn't come close to a years WoW actually.

What graal did is raise the cost of a pretty poor product... Graal is great but again, compare it to wow and others. In almost all cases, sales (players:customers) decrease when costs rise.

First you need to get the product into the market before sales increase, i don't believe graal fails at getting subs because of the cost more because of the lack of advertisement, because as you can see we don't even actually have that many trials running around, so i recommend getting graal out there, where people can find so that the product spreads and generally a well marketed product gets quite a bit of business but that's just my opinion, also give specials to long time users, which will make them stay a little longer if you start reducing sub prices with each time they resub.

Doing our best to justify our low playercount. Mega denial.

What you see as truth and what I see as truth are quite different. You need to keep this in mind. I know the kids would be punished but only after the fact .

There is still the fact that they would actually do it. Although thankfully these days where i live you can get your kids a pre-paid credit card in which they can only spend whats loaded onto it.

Already said graal needs to be advertised and marketed well.

I can make up a whole list of what's wrong with GK and how to fix it, but I don't feel like doing it. If anyone's interested let me know and I might consider it.

If GK actually gets revived then I'll be Jesus

Making it non-gold wouldn't really solve the problem in the long run.

We all know Graal Kingdoms has a lot of problems that have been stacking up over the years but recently Graal Kingdoms has had a lot of new updates and I believe more are to come.

What people don't seem to understand is that I know what's wrong with GK. I just don't have much help fixing it and there is a lot to fix.

Have you tried sending out a application throughout all the servers to get people to help? Am sure there are lots that are just waiting for a chance to help work on gk.

Then post applications. And don't deny help and then post "OH, WELL, NO ONE IS HELPING/OFFERING HELP!" like Bjorn and the former staff did. I, and I know a few other people, used to ask constantly about helping, and either got no reply or "We aren't hiring" and then the staff posted about no help being offered.

We do post applications, have you not checked the application forum?

I check it once a week, just to see what's going on.
But do you post in-game that you're hiring? Like the news feed? Or maybe mass message it?

Maybe Tigairius you should advertise that your hiring better by posting it on the News thing when you log on?

That way no one can complain about not seeing it, because I'm sure everyone has a glimpse at the News on login when they do log in.

You do realize that all of those places are unnoticed by the majority of players, right? Same thing with the magical events website that Maroku is running, only oldbies and a random other player now and then seem to know about it.

I don't think that gk should be free,
but I can imagine that 50 classic players who sometimes buy premium items for gk could create a greater turnover then 15-20 gold players.

I don't think that there is a need for more advertising for hirings - and I doubt that they would change anything.
It's hard to get staff on graal in general, as especially many former developing oldbies have quit the game.

What about people who don't actively look at GK in F8/Login, go on GK and/or don't check the login PM, and don't check the wiki (I believe only oldbies have even LOOKED at the wiki, now with newer players becoming... increasingly stupid, to say the least)?

For a Gold server, I'm sure people are more prone to jump at them.

That's just for Maroku to run and pretend he's doing something. Yeah Maroku, I said it.

Maroku was on until 3AM last night working on new events stuff with Tig. I think it's time you shut up.

Seriously, be a little more mature, yeah pojo jumps to wild conclusions, but dont be an outright jerk, great way to promote staff respect, dignity, and understanding.

Right, because of that, his kingdom points log and magical kingdom event schedule is useful addition to the Graal Kingdom's population!

And just because he does stuff now doesn't mean he has the been the whole time.

Also, 3AM his time? I'm pretty sure 3AM with you guys is a little different than with him.

Nah, I do make Maroku out way worse than he is, he's really a great, and probably productive, guy.
