Yeah, that's what I had believed, but what they're saying is that the "weaponmagic" attacktype has no items that resist it, which would make all other non-status attacktypes inferior.

(By the way, I've had it written on my site that weaponmagic only let you deal more damage to giant monsters like T-Rex, etc. and nobody ever said anything to me about it.)

Also, even though I used a bad example, what I said about rarity and usefulness not being directly proportional is still true. Flaming Sword is better than Ice Flaming Sword, which is rarer, since fire is a better attacktype than ice with half the server following Bile. And even if ice were better, it would just mean that Ice Dagger is better than the rarer Inferno Dagger.

I remember talking to you about the whole weaponmagic situation, but I just accepted what you said as truth because you're Googi

Edit: Also, Drae, couldn't your list have been better sorted? It seemed like magic resistance is only from really rare expensive items, where as some resistances you listed are on easier-to-acquire items. I 'm not sure though, so do correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, I think that's what's most important- how difficult it is to get these items.
