In return for making scamming legal, I demand every level to be a PK-Zone please.

Please refer to the quote.
You think newb's who just start, dig/pick flowers for hours to get a daewoo or such, then gets that scammed wants to stay and play?

Scammers will pretend to be your friend for MONTHS and wait for there chance to get your items, its sad really.

I think I might put the scamming admins legalized option on hold because I think I hold a valid argument here.
Administrators should not scam; if you asked someone for their gun to "test it out", they would most likely give it to you, assuming that they'd get it back since you're an administrator.

I can see it being illegal to scam staff with official business such as testing, but in personal items, they should well know how to protect their own items.

It should be legal, it will become too hard to manage. And people could scam staff by claiming someone else scammed then when they didnt.

More importantly it takes staff time away from development.

Just put a sign up on the unstick me detailing common scams. That way players know and the responsibility is on them.

Option 1. It's impossible to manage option 2, and there are tons of warnings which help in not getting scammed. It's usually your fault if you got scammed without any exploits/glitches/abuse.
I think staff members should not scam, be it on or off tag. The staff team represents, or should represent, the higher power on a server. Shouldn't be ruined. Unsure about the "can people scam staff members" thingy. People will ***** about it if it's not possible, so I'm not going to say anything concerning that.

Side note: Should scamming be illegal after we've gone through this, I think there should be a court system, including judges, and so on, blah blah. Makes it somewhat interesting me thinks.

A court system could work. Just rotate the jury every case. It shouldn't be bias then?

Should people stealing lent items out be considered scamming?

"Scamming" has a different meaning these days. Basically, players look to borrow items, then don't return them. I think if we made scamming illegal, players are most likely going to lend their items out thinking that they can just run to staff and get them back. There's a small flaw in this. A player could give an item out to someone, and later decide that they want it back. When they ask for it back, the person declines. They run to us, saying that he let the guy BORROW the item. Then the other person that "borrowed" it, is PMing us that he gave it to him.

I honestly don't know what to do about "borrow" scams. Players do not get it in their head that they should just keep things to themselves.

Like Houdini said, scamming should be impossible.
If players use the item trade, they shouldn't be getting scammed.
If players contact GPs to do trades that they can't do with item trade (if they trade a car with other items or something) they shouldn't be getting scammed.

I think scamming should go in both ways then. If you don't use the tools provided to you to prevent you from getting scammed, why should we back you up? As far as other scams listed in option 1, using exploits and such, those would be illegal. This subject is getting really complicated.

Please refrain from insulting anyone. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You don't need to flame anyone for it.

Yes, it's their own fault for lending the item out. Anyone with common sense will ask to trade for something of equal or greater value to hold. It would be hard to reverse as well, since they could claim the player gave it to them, or dropped it and started to punch it to death (lol), or any of various other excuses.

It'd be too much of a mess to sort out. If you lend someone something, they could trade it fifty different times, and you can't prove that they were lending it, not giving it.

Im starting to see problems with this now,
such as a person sells a item for USD, then claims he gets scammed or such
