Fair enough, I agree as far as this goes.

I dont play to agitate people, although I find it a bonus that some people take little things in a game so seriously. What is this called? Immaturity, my friend.
There is nothing wrong with being immature and having fun some of the time, and I guarantee my actions on the game dont reflect my actions in real life, so I dont know how you could make the comparison.

that such behaviour should really be looked down upon by the entire Graal public.
And at the end of the day Myself and People such as myself, who play the game to have fun, and do have fun, will continue to do as we do. If people look down on it, thats fine, thats why Games come with an ignore feature and a GP Team. As long as im keeping it within respectable bounds then what is the problem?

Sure you can act that way, but it doesn't (or shouldn't) warrant any kind of respect from other mature individuals.
I find myself to be a highly respectable individual when the situation warrants it, and I dont instigate with people to get respect as ive said before, its just funny when you do some things to watch the reactions of people, such as below.

Thats cool I dont remember saying I was here for your approval, or asking you what you thought, because I could care less. I promise I wont get any less sleep because someone dosent like me.

Actually you should probably take a number and get in line, other people were here first, no cuts.

Hey, I myself admitted I sucked at those events, so if you would have said so as well, I probably wouldn't have been TOO offended.

I'm going to ignore the random drama/flamewar/whatever because it's boring.

All I can say is that every forum should take a page out of SA's book and ban people for any sign of stupidity.

If you banned everyone who showed a sign of stupidity, there'd be nobody left! Everyone makes mistakes. You've got to show compassion to the inexperienced. I think that's what this thread is all about...

If everyone thought like you the world would be a better place.

There is really no excuse for not knowing the rules of a forum before you post.
There have been much worse threads of the community "tearing a member apart".
I have complained about this many times before.

1) The community needs to be a little more understanding and helpful to new members.

2) New (and old) members should familiarize themselves with the rules of the forum befrore they post.

Darlene, you cant expect of a young child to run a marathon too.
Most people don't read rules, thery just open the page once, say "aha fine..." close the browsertab and are happy with it.

Its frustrating for a new member - and graalonline needs new members - if a critic is harsh like this for no reason. Theres a nice way to tell your criticism, without ripping the new person apart.

My example:

"Hello xxx!

Its nice that you are interested in hosting a Server on this nice game, but you have to follow certain rules which are xxx and xxx.
If you follow these rules iam sure that your chances improve to get nice people for your server."

But not:

"Omg follow rules, you criminal! Closed! Never try writing here again!"

Do you really expect a member to stay in the community if you behave like this? I wouldn't expect it.

I know what most people do, and there is no excuse for it.

I haven't seen any moderator act like this. I have always seen them closing the thread, and asking them to read the rules. I haven't seen any moderator being rude about it as you have stated there. That example is something I have seen quite frequently from members, not moderators.
I am assuming you are talking about moderators here, since you said "closed", and the only people who can close threads are moderators.

I am guilty! I am rude and close their threads. You want to know why? I find it also rude if somebody we pick up in our community doesn't cares about our rules.
What would you say, if someone is visiting you in your room and don't cares about things you've ask him to do / not to do?

Whether you pay or not, makes no difference. When you enter someone elses property, no matter what it is, you are required to follow the owner of that property's rules.

Felt compelled to quote for the accuracy of this statement. This theory is just completely necessary no matter what venue it ends up applying to. I'd rather see a few feelings hurt than have chaos.
