1 Question : Why ppl do it?

Why ppl get strong monsters they kill PMODE Player?

its just annoying that the flute acs like the best wep in the game

How they do it:

They get monsters to follow then they play the stop song and all monsters begin to attack....

outside it isnt a problem but at BOMBORIA TRADEROOM you can just kill all player
with magical monsters...

sometimes i have to pillory ppl so they stop it but maybe they will do it again...

ppl loose all there gems and items because of that and they think they are save in the trade room... NOT ANYMORE

Get staff to make a script so magic doesn't hurt in trade? It'll work like the party system when you can't hurt your party with weapons or magic. Simple.

They could easily make the script -- there must be a reason they aren't. Whether it comes from lack of support, or through a reason they want people to die in the trade room ...

I agree this has gotten out of hand, and before people go running their mouth about "Oh well you shouldn't be idling!!" I walked away from my computer for 3 minutes to make my sick girl friend some food and come back and notice my character was no longer where I left him... I ran back and there were over 30 diamonds laying on the ground... had Maroku not been there they would have gotten away with it and people woulda been screwed...

Those are charmed monsters, not summoned monsters.

@Romain - so you should logoff when you go afk huh...keep that in mind next time you go afk in trade please.

@Googi - we have the same problem with summoned monsters too.

1) This problem will never stop
2) Bjorn has said countless times that people can make stuff and send him a message about it. No offense but with him, stefan and Tig having the most access only so much can be done. So yeah get to work...there's lots of people who can dev on gk...am sure some of them would love the chance to dev a good idea.
3) Only way to stop it in trade is to pretty much as someone said disable magic..but go even further and not allow monsters/summoned monster in the building.
4) I will look into designing an actual hangout other then trade where people could go and just idle if they want or shoot the breeze.
5) Change what the killed person drops to fingers instead of other stuff.

First, let me say: Recently, in one night, I lost over over 60,000 platinum and 200 diamonds because i was in a "safezone" and forgot to log off graal at night. As much as I hate certain people for making me lose all that money, I wouldn't want people getting pilloried for this crap. If it's such a problem, then just... fix it. But it's so simple and not-so-hidden that it shouldn't be considered a bug, and therefore not a punishable offense since it's not bug abuse. Let them be banned from all kingdoms like scammers. But don't pillory them. That's like the classic graal "jailing" which is like the universal banning.

basically maroku was hoping that was a deterrant..thats all. But its apparently legal to do....so either staff fixes this or we stop complaining.

The problem isn't the monsters, it's your perspective.

If a player is able to charm monsters and kill you with them, they're either more powerful than you or you're not there to defend yourself. If they're more powerful than you... well them's the breaks; toughen up.

If you're AFK and they pwn you... well that sounds like a lot of fun to me, so I see nothing wrong with it. Idle somewheres else, if you don't like being lamed.

Oh I can tell you..one says RPG and the other doesn't. If you want to compete so badly goto zone where you compete non-stop. This server is supposed to be fun for EVERYONE. Not just the lamers and pkers and oldbies who seem to want it their way.

Your good friends, the GermanKr3w, have turned the server into a RPG free-for-all over the last few years... and it turns out, hey - that doesn't work. With the retarded MMT, who actually uses that? No one did to begin with so what did the GermanKr3w do? They destroyed the hunger system to CREATE THE NEED for the MMT.

PMode and BMode should just apply to those monsters:
- They should not attack peacefull Players
- They should not attack in peacefull areas

Let me lay my lightning walls inside of Bomboria trade, then people can call this bringing monsters into trade where a MAGE CANT EVEN HURT THEM.

Its stupid, how am I supposed to protect myself when "YOU CANT CAST THAT HERE." is stopping me.

I haven't lost anything good, 5dia and 3k plat, but thats all. Jugg lost 1k diamonds from it to some queer a couple weeks ago though.

Low level people in Bomb trade are targets for the monsters too, especially when the summoner blocks the door.

Hell, I usually log off when someone spawns a magic-using monster, lots of people lack the magic resist to handle even four-five magic monsters in a small, often crowded room.

Hey, here's an idea;
run away from the monsters.

It's only a problem when a newbie is getting lamed at his respawn spot and cannot run away.

It's not a problem when rich advanced players are losing some plat and diamonds because they were stupid enough to stay AFK, especially since they should know of this possibility (myself being included for losing ~230 diamonds and ~65,000 plat, which i will continue to repeat every time i see someone else complaining, or untill a few people say they've lost worst- and even then it's probably still their fault because if they have that much wealth, they should be oldbie enough to know the dangers of being AFK)

Edit: Even if the summoner is blocking the door... there's no respawn point directly in the trade room or in these "safezones", so... what's one death?

Edit2: I'll say again; I look at this like scamming. So I don't really condone of people screwing people over while they're AFK, or newbies getting hunted. But for this, I say: treat it like scamming. Outcast the summoners/charmers from our community (by letting others know who does it, and maybe banning them from kingdoms. Even PK them if you can...). I just don't think we need to make such a big deal about it, and certainly don't think staff need to step in with pillorying/banning/jailing/etc. What they should do is get to work on making actual safezones that are truly safe.

"USD'rs"? there's like... 2 on GK right now out of the 30 active players. That's 6.6 percent of the GK population. If you can't deal with 7 percent having more money than you on a video game, don't take it out on the gaming system. Start a blog, or something.
