Sunnyville - Hiring ALL!

Sunnyville is currently hiring every type of developer (NO NON DEVS!) except for NATs. It's currently located on my Esteria server. Yes, Esteria is gone. It was being veeeery sluggish in terms of work. Peeki made a whole server idea, he was first a NAT on Esteria, and Angelu said we could use the stuff he's made, so we already have the bodies done and part of the tiles :P. The idea is in the document

Why only when I ignore you, do you return to the center of my eye?
Oh, squiggly line, it's alright, you are forgiven.

I hear this alot when dealing with up and coming servers. Problem is that the term "MUD/Mud/mud" is so overly used and such a widespread term there are too many "types" of "MUDs/Muds/muds" for a scripter to be familiar with all types of "MUDs/Muds/muds".

Even then, based off the article you just posted, which I did read, you don't really have a major need for a Multi-User Dungeon of any kind. You should try taking a look at Inverness FormData systems or just hiring a scripter who can do all that you ask without having the often-extensive amount of knowledge needed to make 'real' "MUD/Mud/mud".

P.S. I use the term 'real' when referring to "MUDs/Muds/muds" lightly due to the fact that I based my idea of a 'real' "MUD/Mud/mud" from the overall design of Kingdoms Mud, Skyld's opinions on the matter, and Inverness 'obsession' with Multi-User Dungeons.

All The Best, Sincerely yours,

- Stan

Ah, true Stan. I editted the first post the MUD system like I said is for items. Say you have multiple ones. Instead of using a clientr. flag we're putting it in the MUD. So far that's the only reason for it, plus the "levelling" system.
I hate seeing like 10,000 clientr. flags on someone so this will be easier lol

There are mudlibs that use clientr. flags for accessing their information clientside at the most. Because the main mudlib information and editing of that information should be done serverside.

It wasn't really how I meant that, it's just not gonna have EVERYTHING in clientr. flags, making it easier to see than some other servers

I like what this server is hoping to become Very nice!
But I have to admit that it is one hell of a job. I don't know how you planned Esteria but if you fail the same way it would be a real shame...

My definition of a MUD is a game system that overwrites Graal's default system with a style similar to most MMORPGs.

And no I am not obsessed with them, its usually the first thing to do though, and I'm a perfectionist.

I would suggest using clientr. flags for a low to mid level MUD system, using objects and such will just make your life harder.

No offense but there are to many ideas in the world. It is not a lack of ideas but a lack of good hard workers. Good luck with your server but I doubt this will go anywhere with all the servers that have died lately.

Back in old graal when people had an idea they did it.
