I was going to post this a while back but I heard guild wars was coming out so I didn't post this. but when it came out I was very disapointed. So I made a list of things. (revised for post guild wars)

Ideas put together about guild wars from other posts

I. Teams

1.The problem with the teams
-A. The way guild wars was built it only supports two teams making it more of a refurbished zone wars
-B. you can't actually have a guild in the guild wars

2.The solution
-A. Firstly I believe guild wars should be more of a deathmatch desighn supporting up to 20 guilds
-aBasically you appear in one of 20 random locations with the rest of your guild. then you go out and kill the other guilds
-B. Secondly I think you should have registered guilds on Zone and if you are in one you have a Team sign under you and have a different sign in the corner for you radar (see atchments) uless you are on a team world like koth or iricia

II. Map

1.the problem
-A. It is two sided, has one way across, and has only one real fortified place (tents)

2. solution
-A. The map would be like the deathmatch but on a signifacantly larger scale(because of more teams)and would have an I sland in the center with briges leading onto it the spawn points are only on the out sides not on the island (as stated later

III. Mechs

1. problem
-A. Mechs can not be defeated easily and even the engineers have backup weapons (or at least good people do)

2. solution
-A. the middle would be a mech's only part where mechs can't leave.
-B. Engineers need to have less of the buying or event items (IE: rrifle, rps, magnums)

What is your idea on these

The teams b is being worked on. II. Map, yes for the deathmatch type spawn idea, unless it's just two teams, then have a specific spawn area, like anywhere on your teams side of the map. III. Mech, They just need to have a time limit before the self destruct, like 1:00 and then BOOM! Or just run out of gas.

All the map is to small if you ask me.

Exactly, with something as big as a mech it's gonna need to fuel alot more than a speeder.

Solar power is going to end when it gets night, but since there's no night or day solar power isn't used.

Night vision goggles amplify light so you can see more clearly. If there were no light at all they woulden't work.

Most planets have moons, not enough light for solar power, but enough light to dimly see.

Thermal Vision.

And that doesn't work very well, seeing as you'd detect heat from anything that would give it off. Looking towards a fire would essentially be the same thing as looking directly at the sun, except if it were 80 bajillion times larger.

Because very rarely does Guild Wars have enough people on it for a good fight, so you can't do much with them.

i do agree, but i HONESTLY believe guild wars would be better without mechs, its so hard to test/try out the newer weaps while u have a mech on ur ass, and some1 will say "oh its teamwork to stop the mechs" no...most ppl team with mechs neway...so that furthers the problem..AND when i play its uaully 8 vs 8 at the most....and thats rounded to be equal, usually 8 v 9 or 7 v 9....mechs need their own map

if they were removed from guild wars, that would make the new weapons able to be used a lot, A DAMN LOT, more

or...have 1 mech only and no regenerations of it, it it explodes, its gone for that round (im pretty sure after it explodes, it comes back after a few seconds)

not many ppl play neway...so 1 mech should be sufficient enough, or remove em completely, new weaps would be better off

If you taze one the other one walking with it will surely stomp on you. Mechs and their rewspawn are fine, but their mobility isn't. We need places on each level with entrances too small to fit mechs into.

I'd also like to add that the beam doesn't work right some times, and neither do tazebombs.

yay partners except that never happens, theres A LOT in guild wars, a LOT of playing areas, and only a small handful play, plus most want to PLAY themselves and not with others, like i said, i dont really care, i only like DM and Iricia neway, GW isnt even with guilds x_X its just a better alpha lol

Or you could add a class like a Refueler who fuels up mechs and speeders, YET CANT DRIVE ONE...

I was experimenting with the mechs on Gw yesterday and I noticed something with the mechs, as long as there is around 7:7 players or higher the mechs are not that strong but they still kill a lot befor they can be defeated. I came up with a more simple solution for the mechs either decrease their HP to begin with or There Hp decreases for each second in it.

A lot of people think this, I know. But your the one trying to come up with stupid ass reasons to get rid of mechs. Mechs give a balance, otherwise you get your appirces out and win easily. It's called fairness, live with it.

Guild Wars is a team elimination map. If you don't play it, why are you complaining?
