Releasing the source would be bad for him, not us. There's only one thing I want to do, and that's make having your own servers free. God, that would rule. Servers cost enough already. Maybe I should design a new Graal. Call it Laarg! Hehehehehe.
I don't make games to make a living; that's what working at Nintendo's for. For the online community, all of my games are freeware. Graal keeps getting limited with offline mode. First there were no limitations, then the NPC Server left offline behind, and now GS2 totally demolishes it. All my fun is gone

Stefan seems to be very single-minded: make money. He thinks not of the happiness of gamers, which is why they game, to be happy. And personally, I prefer not to pay for happiness. I have to for almost everything else, and this is one thing that isn't necessary.
I'd probably be coding Laarg right now if I could figure out how to make graphics in C++ -_-.
Open-source rules. However, I'm not going to say that you'll miss me when I'm off being the best Game Maker. Too many american-idol-wannabes say that. Bah, whatever, love Graal, hate taxes. Who doesn't?
