Yes =\
Players with no gold subscribers can't access the forums... sadly that means there is no good "customer support" for them :/

And now Account Sharing is illegal too.

Unixmad really knows how to ruin a good game.

That is why people do not share accounts with any random person. People are sharing their accounts with thier friends because thier friends cant afford the price of this game, or they are just too young and do not have a credit card of their own, such as me.

I've been playing graal for a long time, and I like it, it's been a part of my everyday life for at least a year. I'm disappointed that I'll have to leave it now because Unixmad is charging a ton of money to play it.

Graal isn't worth $40. The Guild CP thingy was down for A LONG TIME, what is our $40 going to?

I personally think they should lower the price of a Classic Account to $9 for a year, the gold servers to something like 12 or 15 a year. I know plenty of more people who would upgrade for a more reasonable price like that, and parents would feel a lot better about upgrading for their kids.

Jinx,
How can you support the Game by sharing an account? Reality is, it's not and the Game cannot survive without revenue, granted you may not think it is worth $40 a year and yet this is the price of what 3 CDs? And how many CD's does the average teenager but a year? Or Games for that matter; 1 CD is that or more... not worth it ? Depends on your view and how you value and spend your money on I suppose. To me, maybe if Stefan and Unixmad lowered the price to $25 a year , it may bring more players thus more revenue to the game other than the way it is.The volume of more players should make up any "lost " revenue by lowering the price , as for the lowering the "Classic players" no I disagree , do not lower it for this is where the "bulk" of the revenue will come from not the Gold Servers.

I really doubt Stefan and Unix make much if any profit from Graal.

The main assets they would get from the game are people buying accounts and it's not like sales are booming. Yes they make some from the store thing but not to much I would presume.

Now take the liabilities they have to pay out. The running of the servers and the wages that the people in the office get paid.

I assume that the liabilities out weigh the assets greatly therefore they are losing money.

Running servers can't be too cheap.

No their not and the last time I talked to Unixmad about this there were 20 servers , YES 20 , not all of them are for Graal but still company wide there are at least 20 to maintain and that is not a small feat to keep up in costs to run with...
