Not to mention that making exceptions is not good. Once one is made more will be wanted. Someone said before bickering and whining worked before. Well not making exceptions is the way to stop that.

True, but I did give you an example where it worked, Delteria.

Well, of course Zega later deleted Delteria. But they had a back-up. And that is after all those Admin's were gone, lol.

Mykel you just proved the point for restrictions, to limit the possiblity of it happening at all. Will it stop all of it? Of course not but we are just striving to limit it as much as possible for all on Graal , Staff , Players and Owner/Managers. Is this such a terrible thing to look out for the best interest of all involved?

It is a very noble and honorable thing to do to look out for everyone's best interests. However, Graal Online has a responsibility to please the renters just as it has a responsibility to please the players. It seems to me that the only people you really care about making happy are the players, and that is, in my opinion, what people are upset about. Do not forget, Moon God, the renters are paying customers too - what's more, paying more than the players do.

-- EDIT --
I also would like to add that the rules that are in place now are well thought out, and I do agree with them. (I took the time to review them again.)

A nice happy ending too bad these things dont always end this way.

To others: This is how a good debate should go. No insulting others and a respectful ending.

To be fair, i even emplore stronger right restrictions then are supposed to be required, thats why i brought up the point of people protecting it themselves. Before i already learned of the rules i was a rights tyrant, to protect it myself.

That point was not lost on me and at one point in time I sincerely hope there is some sort of compensation arrived at for the people who so diligently work on the PlayerWorlds of Graal besides a "free month".

I had set own attributes and rw WEAPONS/osrs while working for N-Pulse as NPC team, i think that's enough for the securirity of the playerworld.

Plus most places give discounts for owning multiple servers. For a game such as Graal, making $10,000 on playerworlds alone is a large improvement as to a few years ago where all they had were gold accounts that got access to a few servers, and the forums. Then before that when we didn't have to pay for diddly squat.
Eh, Graal owns space in 3 major datacenters, They run almost all Dual Xeons with a min of 1Gig ram, You have _no_ idea of the price of bandwidth when your purchasing Transit, It's a hell of alot more than 100/month. You're talking about Renting Servers from some third party like servermatrix, Graal has never cheaped out when it comes to servers and bandwidth. Alot more expensive than 100

My apologies. I slept in.

First and foremost, your GP Asst Chief and below lack the ability to ban players? Well, congratulations - you're ensuring that everyone has the ability to whine and harass all staff with warping rights until one of them warps the person out of the jail/ban level.

Secondly, and also somewhere near the front, I am pleased to see that the Graal 'business' cares so much about its 'customers' that it doesn't care about what they think at all. (I'm referring to Moon God's "if you guys really don't like what is being done then hey find another game to play on... Pissing and moaning about it doesn't change anything.")

Thirdly, I enjoy the selection of the example server.

I don't expect my points to be answered, as Moon God continues to run away when it doesn't suit him to continue (refer to the Rule Amendments: Level 4 RCs thread if you doubt), but I at least thought I'd put them out there for your consideration.

The thread was and your comments aren't. People still are confused about rights and there is no post that goes into it in this much detail.
My comments seem to be otherwise your wife would have deleted them.

As for the thread itself.
You or Spark could have merged it onto the other rules and have it set as an example. Or better, there was a document full of very useful information for new playerworld owners. You could have included it in there. I attached it in case you don't remember.

I can't believe you would say this here on these forums. You should chill with saying that. Those are the same comments you said to players on N-Pulse during your dictatorship on N-Pulse as manager.
Your server dropped from 140 in 2002 to 54 in 2003. Graal doesn't need you telling the players to go away. What you said, Unixmad has banned people in the past for. You might as well start advertising other games for people with comments like that.
It is not good to encourage others to quit and go play another game, no matter how much you hate youths opposing you and your power.
People don't want Graal to lose 75 % of its playerbase the way N-Pulse did. So please don't say something like this again. :/

I am not encouraging anyone to leave, but those who constantly rebuke what is done here is of no value to Graal, if they are that unhappy then why stay and try to make others miserable because they may enjoy the game as it is? You constantly point out the drop in the Npulse player count but always leave out the facts on what caused that drop. Geo's banning of Guilds, adding Teir Dal to Npulse, adding Kingdoms to Npulse thus removing Guilds in favor of kingdoms. The introduction of P2P to Graal all had an affect on Npulse and none of this was my or Moonies fault.

You fail to mention that it was Moonie and I that tried to get Npulse back to the way it was BEFORE Geo did all that crap so don't blame me for what someone else caused. I don't hate Youths or their dissenting opinions, people like you that no matter what I do or don't do you oppose what I do and make it your life’s work on Graal to try to discredit me in whatever I do. I'm glad to see you think I have that much influence that what I say can affect 75% of the players to leave... Give me a break already.......That is such a *****ic statement to make of anyone.

Yet both of you didn't do much. Archaon and Zerxus worked hard in bringing back what was left of old N-Pulse. You guys only supervised
while the work was done.

My life's work huh? I'm not the same person. So trying to get me to explode won't happen.

I make sure to be a pain for you. I never gave Aftershock, Psyker, Torankusu, Angel, Nemesis, Geovanie, or Vincent Valentine problems when they were PWA or even staff. They did a fairly good job at what they did for Graal. I won't say they did a great job, because some things
could have improved.

As for the new PWA. I hate Houdiniman (who doesn't), but I haven't given him problems, and I wasn't too pleased with Spark either when he first arrived, but I got a lot of respect for him now since he has done a good job and provided us with things pwa in the past would never had made for staff/players.

Besides that, I mentioned the same thing Tseng/Lance said, why do you ignore what he has to say on the matter? It is not much different that my previous post. I only went into a bit more detail.

As for my mission you say I have. What is the difference between me now and the dirty work I did for you on your old N-Pulse forums?
You didn't seem to have a problem with it back then. I guess you only have a problem with it when it comes back your way. :/

I'm a lot nicer now. I'm not the most sincerest and won't be, but I think I'm fairly friendly and have done some to help some others in Graal.
My life's work on Graal has not been to terrorize players and ruin good playerworlds or get decent Graal globals in trouble.

I do not constantly point that out. You have me mixed up with ETD. I actually left you alone for a couple years now until recently when you ticked me off with one of your arrogant comments. Heck I even once offered you support to become a pwa. :o

N-Pulse losing 100 players from 2001 to early 2002 was caused by p2p and Geos screwup, yes.
I'm sure you remember that N-Pulse just like classic used to get into the mid 200s for their playercount.

I was presenting what occurred during 2 years (2002-2003) where you and Moonie were manager the majority of the time and p2p did not play a major role in the loss of players, except maybe that May or April 2002, but all that really did was weed out the trainer users since most people left by then. You can blame Geo for screwing up the overworld and losing about 100 players. I'll accept that, but don't blame him for that drop in playercount from 2002-2003 when he was long gone.

As for calling the comment *****ic? I know you are putting me to the test because you know how I used to be.
I have moved on past the stage of my mass cussing explosions. That won't happen and hasn't happened for a long time now.

On topic:

So to stay on topic. Will you be considering putting the initial post of this thread as an example in the documents provided for playerworld staffs. It is just a suggestion, but you seemed to ignore that in my previous post as well.

The example is nice, although not the best. It can be used to create a similar one and provide the better one as an example.

Mmm. As I'd predicted, the foolish one did not respond. Tis okay, though, I had not directed my points towards him (such efforts are futile as he will never learn), but to the general public.

He either knows his place when it comes to arguing with someone who has just as much power as he does or he fears you.

I'm a simple Playerworld manager. He can state lies about me and some will believe them, unfortunately.
I still don't see how he gets me and ETD mixed up. ETD has been the one on his case over the past year on these forums.

1. take things out of context
2. be more sarcastic in their response
3. just looking for a fight with someone they don't like

so yes I don't and will not respond to whatever Lance post.

I don't fear anyone much less Lance...

I don't concern myself with "power " on Graal , only with what I have to do to fulfill the job I have. People who concern themselves with "power" aren't in it for the right reasons.

Shrug. These days he probably has more power than me, though I suppose I've got more influence (with all but unixmad, anyway).

I'm just a regular guy these days, it would seem.

Mmm, he replied.

Well, Chuckie my boy, that's your foolish choice. I raise valid points, and most people know this by now. For example, I noted that something intended to remove corruption will have the unintended effect of promoting it. However, your precious PWA rules are so perfect that such a thing couldn't happen, now could it? And if it did, it was probably someone else's fault, and not the rules, because, after all, they are most excellent and simply cannot be flawed.

Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate is the path to the dark side.

I'm supposing since you don't fear me that the other case is true, and you know your place. That's cool, I don't mind being ignored by you. From now on, I shall take every point of mine that you do not reply to, and instead of a reply, it will be an understood "I acquiesce."

Then why are you so damned hard-headed about criticisms now that you've acquired your 'power'?

And you are...?

Yet both of you didn't do much. Archaon and Zerxus worked hard in bringing back what was left of old N-Pulse. You guys only supervised
This couldnt be further from the truth...Archaon and Zerxus were awsome level makers, and I have alot of respect for them both, but to say we sat around and did nothing but supervise is a lie.
It is true that MG was more towards the Management of Npulse because he is simply better at managing than I am...I on the other hand, was doing everything that I could do, and even trying to do things that I could not do, so before you start spouting off things, have your facts straight instead of assuming.
On a side note, this thread was not started to have a discussion about Npulse, so this needs to stop...The past of Npulse does not matter anymore, it is the future that matters, leave it alone

It wasnt an official warning or anything, I was just pointing out that this thread wasnt created to discuss npulse, just an example of RC rights.
Talking about the past of Npulse is like beating a dead horse.....

There is nothing wrong with posting something good a PW is doing , as you can see by the time on the post , last night when the "debate" was going on it was fine and there was a good debate without flaming. But as you see today others got on and turned a good thread ugly.

It isnt his fault, or I would....This thread started out as a nice debate until certain people entered into it with name calling and sarcasm.
The way of some Graalians unfortunately......
