Well then don't blame players. Blame staff who make those stacked brutals (whoever it is).

The players who used them are just as much at fault, and should be banned for the retaining of information regarding illegal items.

True the stacked maps are illegal and how they are still being passed around is beyond me, Perhaps if whoever does have any still should do the right thing and turn them over to staff?

I agree with the idea that armor should only be able to be +5'd

Or maybe make it so you can hold so many enchantments to an armor based on your level? Or some stat? Like you can hold only so many slots on a weapon based on physique level.

Just a thought. :o

Just a few points:

Argo, you are about lvl 28, right?

You are only complaining, because after you PKed me at the altar and continued to later, you couldn't PK Ana (lvl 47) more than once after she came to help me, and Nayoko (lvl 53) was able keep you back completely.

The thing is, you are already able to PK who have their armor EAed out, who are much higher lvl than you.

2) Anyone zoe has ever given a price break to in EAing, has certainly not been PKers. Only people.....trying not to get PKed all the time.

Does that mess with your game Argo? EAing is DEFENSIVE in nature, after all.

3) She doesn't flood GK with high EAs. I won't go into who did.

4) Charging a good amount makes getting the rare item, more like completing an event. Good reward for hard work.

I personally think if there is an imbalance, it should be asked how a lvl 28er PKs a lvl 47er. And now because you have trouble, makes you wish the rules were different.

GK, needs a lot of changes to be completely balanced, I think changing just the EA element would actually cause more imbalance.

People are getting better WC all the time, but EAing has capped out at +11, now that zoe is not lvling anymore, and no one else is close to that lvl.

It takes a lvl 100 person to make an EA+11 item
People will compensate with better WC and hit that AC long before they reach lvl 100.

Uhm, you do not have all +10 items, you told me that yourself. I had a very hard time killing Ana (more magic then phys) and Nayoko is easy as hell, she doesnt have everything +10 so its not hard for me to hit her.

Did I include you in my previous posts? No, I dont have trouble pking you, I have trouble pking Dice, or DX (as if i would buddy) and other people who have evertyhing +10.

Taharu (pkr), Shobre (pkr at times), Driken (pkr at times), Akira (pkr at times), Craigus (pkr to select few)...

Thats like saying shooting somebody with a gun was defensive... AC is part of the D&D world, which Graals fighting system is based on... WC is the offense, AC is both offensive and defensive in Graal, notice Havoks, Markmanship gloves, Serpent Gloves, all are EAable Offensive items. Your ball....

Fine, Tec and MarkB did the majority of the +10s, but once again, I note that my previous post included both Tec and Zoe..

Indeed, but I think its quite ... hmm, whats the word im looking for... Well, its more of a bait for people to join Dustari since she says she only EA's for Dustarians ...

Ah, well, see, theres this thing called strategy.. I got poisoned, used my buffering gloves, buffered, healed, used my RoHMS to get 161 sp, then went out and used magic then melee...

Ah, this isnt just now bothering me... I've complained about it for along time, ever since Tec started his incredible leveling spree (ask Lance, he listened to me *****)... so no, I do not want to make the rules different, i simply want something to counter-act the high AC.

Your opinion... Look at people who spent hundreds of hours trainning their phys level (WaterLord) and now cant hit anybody because the incredibly high Enchanted armor is making other players AC too high for him to hit...

Yes, people get better WC by leveling up, but they also get WC from EA'd items... Also, had Tec stayed, im sure he would of been lvl 100 from brutal maps before Zoe... not like its a race, just stating a fact.

Not really... Yes it takes a lvl 100 person to +11, but it really doesnt make sense for somebody to have to train themselves to level 50 phys (halfway mark is basically all you need to break -60 AC) just too hit other players... Its quite hard to do, and as I stated before, its time consuming, and expensive without a staff member feeding you maps.

Magic breaks all AC XD (if you can get a spell off...) but anyway, he's my suggestions/ideas thing:

Make EAing equipment like prepping a weapon. You wouldn't have to prepare it, just as soon as you enchant it, it has your name on it. Stops people from giving out the high level armours to the low leveled players, but is a bit extreme.

A lesser extreme is to just put a cap on what you can handle. A level 20 player can put 3 enchant armours on a piece of equipment. If that player were to get a +4 piece of equipment, then it could just say "You're not powerful enough to use this piece of equipment." "It would consume your soul!" (overenchanted weapon style :P). This way, players of the same level have SOME chance to hit each other, and keeps that level 1 newbie from being godly.

Another (smaller) idea is to put an EA limit on the "special" pieces of equipment (the ones that are good regardless). Perhaps those could have a +5 limit, to prevent them from being excessively godly (have you ever seen a +10 mithril? it has 90% physical resist :| )

Just a thought though.

The current fighting system on Kingdoms does suck, its fine for fighting monsters and stuff, and would work well in an offline game, but - when it comes to other players, fighting is unbalanced and unfun.

Fighting on classic graal rocked, because even if you just logged on to the world for the first time, you could still take on that guy with 12 hearts. Every solid hit does something as you dance around him and toss bushes. And he doesn't suddenly regenerate those hearts back either.

Sadly, if you're looking for that kind of fighting fun, you can't look towards Kingdoms. :[

Kingdoms rocks besides that though, but I still would like to have some fun and fair fighting in it.

I wonder what all the fuss is about - personally, I enjoy playing kingdoms, I rp and I have fun there - maybe because I don't pk? I don't feel the need to be the strongest, the best player, to "own" anyone - if EAs help me with that, help me to live as long as necessary to find refuge or make a getaway, then I can live with that.

All of these are included in the reasons I don't play Kingdoms anymore. I just hope that when Graal 3D is released, a new kingdom-esque server will come out and everyone will start on an equal playing ground (and it will be balanced).
