I'm pretty sure that without assumptions, communication would be damn hard... Pull this to the extreme.

Right now I am taking the time to type this because I am assuming that you will return to read it. Given you do return, I am assuming that you can understand what I am typing. That you can realise the connection between the characters, and the way they are pieced together to make words, sentences, and paragraphs...

Or something along those lines. I could be wrong...
