Bad graal.
Uh, all the sudden when i was playing graal i heard a loud boom, then the pc froze, and the most horrible smell rised from the pc.
We took all the good stuff from it and put it in mine, so now mine is the family PC. My mom said i can't DL graal, because she thinks that's why it crashed, so i was wondering if there is a way to get graal in a ZIP or something, so i can hide it easily in network places or something. |
Tell your mom it wasn't Graal. Tell her to stop smoking, and if she doesn't smoke - tell her to get rid of fluffy, yea I'm talking about your house pet. Heck, if it's not the house pet then you should consider shaving your dad's back a little more often. the computer over heated, maybe it was just the power supply.. either way it wasn't graal and if she has a problem that she can talk to me. (that would be so awkward and funny!)

Aye, marcoR is correct. You might have had too many things plugged into your outlet or, your power supply wasn't of very high quality. Typically those are the first to go, so if your computer doesn't turn on at all (no lights when you hit the power button) then that's what you need to replace.
The rest of your equipment should be fine. It will also make a strange smell. Burning up a CPU would only make the smell, no noises. A computer game would never cause computer equipment failure. Well, the only one I could think of is your video card overheating, but Graal doesn't have anywhere near the performance hit to cause anything like that. |
Show your mom this thread.
Your mom is a complete ***** and needs to be shot full of common sense. "Hey mom check out this cool game.. you play it then it makes your computer over heat real bad then..... BOOM!... There goes the computer is a great game" ::Punch:: Just do that. Knock some common sense into her. I'm sure she is a cool mom but if she thinks a game did that then she doesn't need to be near a computer. |
I agree.

remeber guys, moms dont no crap bout computers
infact almost all parents dont...annoying and i totaly agree with all of you. the only reson that could happen is if graal sent a virus into your computer which got into your BOIS and could manager to change the power supply or turn off the fans or something. Maybe your fan fell off of your proccesor? (graal doesn't have the cappsity to dont something like i just said or i really doubt it can) |
My god. My mom does the same thing.. Anything happens to the computed ITS GRAAL. I hate when parents do it.. Gets on my ****ing nerves... There is no possible way Graal of all things could hurt your computer in anyway shape or form. Unless it doesn't meet the lowest set of requirments. Plus the only way Graal could hurt your computer is freeze it... And that hurts nothing.

Don't overclock.
Oh, and to get Graal into a .zip, just right click Graal and click "Add to archive". |

Although, I have to agree with everyone else here. Graal itself couldn't have possibly caused your computer to "pop" like that. Or, if it did, I'm sure we would have certainly heard about it earlier. Also, don't act over confident. That can create a no-win situation. |
