Matin's right, in the mudlib there are more than one class.



It would be insane to add races at this point anyways. What about the people that are already playing? Would they have to restart or what?

Some maybe, but it wouldn't help. Also, the game the mudlib comes from - I just played it for a few minutes - doesn't look like it would require a set of gfx as extensive as kingdoms, thus making it a lot easier to get new races added, from the visual point of view.

All they really need for those classes is more options for the tag command, (the one that puts your class after your name) I meen think of it this way...

Cleric = Priest (their the same thing, only clerics have ethos about what kind of weapons they can weild and priests don't.)
Paladin: phisique and wisdom leveling
Ranger, Archer, Merchant, Halfling, it's all about dressing up and playing pretend! If you wanna be a gnome, roll gnome stats, rp it, etc.

And another thing, Gnomes are usualy thiefs, and usualy excel in illusionary magics. And Dwarfs are hairy lil guys who live in mines and carry big axes. Just thought I'd throw that in, you know, just... incase... o.o;
