Races!
 

I'd love to see 2k2 incorperate different races. I know stefan would hate to have to do this, though. Each race could have had it's own specific stats and classes, and people could have grouped together by race also in little tribes or whatever you'd like to call em around the islands. Could have had brutish Orcs and Trolls, Satyrs (think pan), Elves, Dwarves, the possibilities woulda been endless :(

Yes, possibilities would be endless - so would be the work coming with it. New bodies and heads for each new race, to give them a different look as well as internal difference - 5 different orc heads? Then, you'd probably have to redo some ganis to acomodate differently shaped being like, say, orcs. Then you'd need new gfx for armour, as they need to be fitted to the bodies. And, and, and... and it's not in the mudlib... ;)

I recommend more races maybe more suitable for females, like possibly clerics. Paladins would be nice, too. :D

Heh.. Instead of having races, we have classes and races/kingdoms.. So, basically, we already have races... :/..

You cannot call Zormite a race anymore.....because they don't follow Age-Old Traditions.

Yes i think a very good race would be Merpeople....
Like have a whole island full of lots of water and make it where they can go underwater...and perhaps they can like transform into humans..so they can walk on land...ahhh i would be such a beautiful mermaid with aqua blue long hair..

That's right...and untill all the issues like that are solved, GK shouldn't be advancing in any way. RPers could revolt against the whole system itself though...for example, having a leader be very strict with RPing- stricter than has ever been done before on GK. And dominate the Graal Kingdoms world as we know it!

What's your problem with Zormite? I don't want to start a new discussion, and I know they were supposed to be merpeople on 2k1, but this is 2k2, and if what Zen does works (and I think it does, quite well indeed), why complain? There are pore important things to add or fix on the server, both server-sided as well as coming from the players.

You can choose races AND classes in mudlib...
