New Graal Trainer

Has anyone confirmed if the trainer has a virus or trojan that will send even changed passwords to the creators? I asked Relentless Mirage to send me the Graal Shop program on AIM, and he sent me the trainer, renamed as GraalShop.exe, so I am assuming I now have this virus. I got my password changed, am I still in danger? Also, isn't the creator of this trainer doing Graal somewhat of a favor? Maybe for now on people will be slightly scared to download trainers and such. Anyway, if you can answer my question, I'd appreciate it!

Change your password right now. Delete the thing, run a scan, change your password and you'll be fine. Check your win.ini file for bootup information, IM me and I'll tell you if something is there that shouldn't be. Also check your msconfig.

Kaimetsu will become famous soon enough
Anyone else think this all sounds so implausible? Why would he send a disguised trainer if he could've just sent a trojan? How would he benefit from the trainer sending the password away, unless he's linked to the trainer's creators? If he is linked thereto, why the hell would you run an executable that he sent you?

Maybe he's too ignorant to send a trojan. Maybe he IS linked with the creators. I ran the file because I thought it was Graal Shop.

Why didn't you just use the Graal setup to download it? I wouldn't run EXEs even they were sent by friends.

You people never fail to amaze me. No matter HOW MUCH YOU ARE WARNED, you guys go and do stupid things anyway. unixmad should put a note at the top of the EULA saying

NOTE: We are not responsible for your own stupidity.

It never should have been made.

Fine, in your case you were naive. However, time and time again everyone has been warned about people doing this sort of thing. Did you choose to heed those warnings? No you did not, therefore you had it coming.

Don't say that to Thallen, he's a great guy.

So anyway, on July 4th, the anti-Graal/hackers are planning to get around 100 accounts banned that downloaded a trojan. I'll be ready though >:]

I never directly said that to him. It was a general statement referred to everyone that has done something LIKE what he did. Notice I said "you people", hence not directly referring to an individual.

I'm not necessarily agreeing with them, but he should've scanned the .exe file. That's common sense.

Yeah, maybe I should have, but hey, he was a friend and I wasn't thinking about having my account stolen at that time. And thanks Lyndzey and protagonist.
