What leads you to believe that anyone in that 40% plays UN when less than .1% of people who use the internet play Graal?
I think you failed to pick up on the sarcasm in my post, which actually rather strengthens its point. It's impossible for 40% of people to be in the top 1% of the population - the point is that they only say they are in the top 1%.

Can I get a headcount of which playerworlds plan on participating? I know I already got G2000, Adventure, Bomy Moon [public version] and Kingdoms on board. Can I get confirmation from the managers of
UN
Era
N-Pulse
Delteria
Doomsday - Signed up
Babylon - Just signed up
Bravo
Gaia
Shaded Legends
Atlantis
and Frolic?
I'll need your contact information and gani sets as soon as possible. I'm still deciding whether the spars are going to be projectile, melee, or both - probably both, such that Classicians can use bow and sword, Erans use gun and knife, and they both do the same ammount of damage.

Will these events be hosted on different playerworlds? and if yes, will people be eliminated if they can't play on Kingdoms?

Read from the beginning.
Each server hosts its own preliminaries to find the best player for each event. They do this on their own server, any way they like, to find their champion. The champions of each server will meet on the yet-unmade Graalympics Server to duke it out for the honor of their world.

I Really want all PlayerWorld managers to help Tyhm to organize this event, this is really something i would like to see.

There will be nice gift for the winners and also we will give gift to PlayerWorld managers that have helped.

Thanks Tyhm for answering my question. I hope Knuckles will be interested in this event so someone could represent Frolic.

Depending on the number of events won I think a player should recieve some p2p time, and managers....unless they are actually helping the Events team or Game coordinators I think she be rewarded. So a good prize would be something special that others dont have. A Graal Olympics Champ tag?

Worthless. Classic already has a GCS tag. Maybe an account upgrade should be the prize for the winners? And a month's free server-time for the managers of the servers that helped?

Me, but I need one of the higher-ups to set up the server. If you wanna help a particular server with their qualifying rounds, you can do that however you like.

Okay!
New news!

If you're not on the list on the bottom of Page 3 as being In, you're not expected! If your PW of choice isn't, tell them to get their butts in gear!
If you are, and that's a very short list - I'm gonna need your basic gani set - walking, sitting, idling, basic sword attack, basic ranged attack - the graphics for it, an NPC for setting appearance, and either a starting level which would connect to an island or an idea of how it would work. I can have you land after being shot out of a cannon if all else fails, or get magicked in, or teleported down.
G2K0, Classic/Adventure, and Kingdom are already set in that department, I need someone from Bomy Moon to tell me how they'd get there. Zal, perhaps?

And after I was nice enough to manually restore this account, even after all that, you have to insult me and spam my thread? There's gratitude for you.

I remember Unixmad walking around on G2k1 with Kaimetsu and I, telling us plans for the Graal Olympics.. That was before G2k2 Alpha was released, and its finally coming to pass?
I think Unixmad is like my sister in a way. My sister says she'll be at the house in 10 minutes, it takes her 40 minutes to actually get here. Unixmad talks about releasing Graal Olympics, it takes more then a year to even start a thread talking about them! No complaints though I think it'd be great. I CAN TRAVEL THROUGH THE OLYMPICS, FIGHTING CRIME, TESTING GRAALIAN'S URINE FOR STEROIDS OR OTHER PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS!! OFMG CALL TEH COPS!

You use a kingdom sword gani over a lizard sword. Or an era knife gani over a lizard sword.
You use a kingdom crossbow gani over a classic bow. Or an era gun gani over a classic bow.
My point is, no matter what weapon you're apparently using, you're using the same weapon.

Live. There will be judges on the Graalympics server. Each server is responsible for finding its own representatives, and they're free to do that however they like; if the server manager cheats and puts his best friend in as Best Sparrer, he can, and he'll lose if he's a lousy sparrer.

The prizes:
For each event,
First place gets a T Shirt
First place's server gets an indeterminate amount put towards their server cost for when such things are calculated. Which is a good thing.

It's a damn nice shirt too, if I do say so myself. The colors are dead on, and it looks at least like they dyed the threads themselves...I'm guessing from what I know of the industry it's a professional heat-transfer, but still, it's very nice.

All I've got is this picture from like a year ago, when I had a webcam that worked (however poorly)...note that the picture quality itself is godawful, the shirt itself is dead on.
...and now I can't find the picture. If you can search, I posted it on the main forum a while ago.

I wonder if it's possible for 2K1 to come up with five people

Kaimetsu will become famous soon enough
Hmm. If the playerworld benefits from the victory of their entrant then I'm wondering if they'll try to recruit people that have never even played on the server.

Probably, but that's hardly the point.

I really don't care if the representatives are newbies - if a server puts less than their best and brightest up, they've blown their chance. Basically, I figure there's a limited talent pool - there's one Awesome Sparrer out there, one Invincible Sumo Wrestler, one Hyper Endurance King (probably with his little brother covering while he goes to the bathroom and eats?), one Insane Trivia Nut, and one Marathon Racer out here. Each one will be a shoe in for qualifying for any server's team, and they'll choose whichever server they like best. On these servers, there'll be someone not quite so good, and they'll go to a lesser server to try and get in - no matter how it goes, the best of the best wind up representing the best servers, and the worst servers just grab whoever they can find. The best defeat the worst, and it all balances out.

Major revisions - nobody can make Monday's deadline, so I'm pushing it back to the last week of July for qualifiers, first (full) week of August for the games. Granted, that runs right across my birthday, but euh. Few better ways to spend it, uh?

I have to agree, the shirts are really nice, and the colors are dead on like Tyhm says...they are also well made, and the tee-shirts arent cheap tee-shirts, they are heavy...I have worn and washed mine several times, it doesnt stretch out or lose its shape.
