Oh, one addendum: It's generally considered okay to buy accounts for other people, on the strict assumption that ownership is transferred at the exact moment the account is created. Generally we only tend to believe you if the new account's name is the same as that of the person for whom it is being bought.

Also make sure if you do let someone upgrade your account, get the paypal receipt from them.

Another thing about account sharing, you cannot share the same account as your siblings. However, sharing with people that use the same computer as you cannot be proved so you most likely won't get in trouble.
