Class-specific skills

Simple...
Warrior - More natural AC and damage
Barbs - Could use woodlore exclusively, can't use spells.
Thief - natural 1.000 more speed and can use steal skill exclusively.
Priest - Can pray at altars exclusively (bless exclusively,enchant exclusively etc)....
Wizards - Automatic mana regen +5 and exclusive spells to learn on level up..example:Hurricane (like a snowstorm mixed with lightning) x.x

As soon as I saw you posted, I knew you were going to dumb this down somehow. You always say no to ideas, or simplify them in some way. What's wrong with a more advanced and balanced system?

I really like Lockes idea, and the cyclone thing, briliant, kind of like whirlwind on Diablo 2 with the barb class.

Not to rip off anything from D2 but why not give the barbs a warcry to power them up insted of increasing damage. Make there ac, wc, and health go up. Like say your ac goes up (down) -5, wc -3, and health go up 20, and have this last say...10 seconds.

But not to be unfair, have all other resist's accept natural down to say -15.

Just to let you people know, Stefan intends to remove classes entirely .. so if you want another Graal Bomy Moon that's fine, but I think classes are what make GK different, and I think that this stuff I wrote out could help (or any other "class-specific" sort of things). I wanted to let everyone know what his intentions were, so you weren't going on blind to such a huge future change. That is all

Removing classes? Please, no... Is done properly, they won't hurt, and with certain additions and subtractions on common skills they even have a purpose... don't remove them °°

"real" classes have no affect anyway. It's just a matter of starting equipment. May as well say everyone's a civilian who can buy the equipment and skills they want.

Hm... like giving everyone 3 easter eggs at the start to trade for items like piety, cauldron, talisman/legerdemain, melee, missile, lit etc - so everyone has to chose how to start... wouldn't be better or worse than as it is...

It would just be about 300 times faster, so you could get the stats AND items you want in the time it takes to get the stats you want.
