Not really. Everyone uses the same weapon. Why? Because its stronger. Everyone uses the same items mostly. Why? Because they are better.
If every sword had the same damage, but did an elemental damage, like frost swords do cold damage, flame swords do fire damage, etc., then it would give players a choice.

Also classes are bad because you should be able to pick your own stats, some skills, and some starting spells/prayers. You can basically create your own character. Then as time goes on you can get more things for your character, stronger weapons... upgrades... And you can contune going on that way. Thats my 2 cents.
