Well, Graal Kingdoms is lacking content, and since the only people that really script for the server is Stefan, Loriel, and Jagen (ProjectShifter was removed for innactivity, yet was on the day before...). Possably hiring one or two professional scripters, and pay them. -_- Can't expect the players to make graal for nothing, can you? Although I don't mind it, but it takes too long. -_-

Also, about the Kingdoms reciving weapons because the King makes the graphics or suggests iteas, that should be haulted and each Kingdom should have the debug staff make each kingdom a weapon or item of their own to craft, so for Example, Zormite. Zen makes the graphics for everything, yet he works on debug to make graphics and create levels for Zormite. So Zen should be making weapos for other kingdoms.

ugh Im already so busy you dont understand, and I have a special responsibility with Zormite, so I spend hours and hours for things which help my own kingdom. I mean i understand your reasoning, but from my position it would be counter-productive.

Anyways, I half-considered the idea of helping with making a pistol for Pirates but there has been unessisary friction between us lately. (both a)the leaders & b) the kingdoms themselves)

What? You don't seem to understand your role. You're not Zormite Graphics Admin, you don't choose what to make dependent on Zormite's political standpoint. Your duty is to make graphics for the whole server, and that includes the Pirates.

It is normal that the kingdom leaders try to make their own kingdom more interesting, the items we add are more for role-playing instead of stuff that is unbalancing things. Also they are available for everyone (Samurai have naginata, bamboo rod, pirates the hook, dustari will get new swords soon).
I guess Zen also helped for things like the spell icons :-)

Zen, Kai is right, your job is well explained your title. Global Graphics Administrator. Meaning you spend your time working on the kingdoms graphics, rather then what you should be doing on your spare time. I understand you want to develop for just that kingdom, but all the kingdoms needs something. Not just something a kingdom member submits.
And don't tell me your job is mainly looking for stolen or copyrighted graphics on servers. It shouldn't be your job at all for its the Playerworld Administrations job. -_-

also not to be mean to stefan but all the weapons that we have arent really special..... i mean u can make a katana bamboo staff and a naginta at harmonia. the pirate hook and the zormite wand/blade u can only make at their kingdom isle see what i mean we dont really have a "Special" weapon. i have recently bought an oriental weapon book and it has some pretty cool things. Maybe introduce double weapons into the game? Samurai could have a special oriental broad blade, sai's or tonfa'z, making a person with 2 of them would be sort of like a double weapon so u could asign the key S=down be a straight attack with both weapons (if their tonfa's or sai's) Im not saying u should do this because scripting would be from hell. but these are just some idea's. I would make the images but my image making program has a bug in it so the task bar or the canvas doesnt show up so that cancels me out but please consider the thought carefully. Also PLEASE get forest some weapons i mean they have the least ammount of things wow a crappy(in my opinion) looking table oooo ahhhhhh get some decent stuff in forest. thanks for ur time

I think 2002 staff need to concentrate on getting the stuff thats up working before putting anything else up. Like the items that cant be equiped such as...Bow of Thunder :o

Yes, Stefan needs to contentrate on things he planned, like them ebil spell/skill icons. The Graphics for new weapons. The spells to be fixed and have the light shows from them removed.

Write me out a brief list of some weapons that you'd like to have graphics for (rare ones, but still slightly common). I'll do it. I'll do it for armour and such as well. I'm probably going to make one for the mithril chainmail, seeing as I bought one of those from Logan not too long ago.

and cali, theres other debug staff that makes gfx, like soul blade i think. so we dont have to depend on zen all the time, its a lot of pressure.

I am the KING of Zormite. I am not actually staff on G2k2, I was never hired there for anything like some people, I only have debug access because I'm the KING of Zormite.

I will and have helped on spell icons, because I was asked to. Its not my responsibility to make G2k2 gfx besides for Zormite unless Stefan requests it. Its not my responsibility to develop any part of G2k2 except for Zormite, unless Stefan requests it.

There are people who are actual G2k2 Staff, I am not one of them.

I sorta thought GGT(global gfx team) people just go around and try to "help" out with stuff they can, look for stolen graphics..etc. coz most don't do nothing unless Zen assigned something..

gawd you people don't listen. Get someone from YOUR kingdom to make a graphic thats good and submit it. Zen is just in charge of zormite and global gfx admin so it's just a convenience of sort. Anyone can submit a weapon or armor peice!

Neither do you, I think. Their basic point is that a global graphics admin should make graphics globally. If this is not the job description then they are wrong, but you have not shown this to be the case. If it is the correct job description then Zen is neglecting his duties by focusing on one area of G2K2 for personal reasons.

He could be submitting gfx as a player like any other player part of a kingdom can. It doesn't have to be in the job description to submit weapons.

Yes, but from what I've heard it seems as though 90% of his graphics are for Zormite. This is not a desirable balance.

well I never really see PWAs going around servers a lot to check..so since this is sorta graphics related...wouldn't hurt for us in the team to look out as well ;x you can never have too many eyes out

*Personal reasons? I'm developing a community because I'm in charge of it. lol.

*GA had the responsibility of watching PW's for copyrighted images before PWA did. We used to have a special sub-team just for this. I understand that PWA does this now but its GFX related so I still would have my team look check every now and then. Also, there are images that some PWs use that was made for other PWs which isnt allowed either unless they have proper permission. I have straighted out a few major instances of this happening in the past. This is only a small small part of the team anyways, so I hardly think you could classify GA as pointless if thats one of our responsibilites.

*I'm not actual staff on G2k2, the position of GA is to help administration servers (g2k1, g2k2, classic) with GFX when REQUESTED. We dont actually run the servers, you cant expect me to be running around on all 3 making up assignments for my team to do. Its required that staff of those servers request assistance if needed, then I make sure they are assisted. You can see how horribly busy this small & "slow-to-relay-information" team can become if we were expected to make all the gfx for 3 servers.

I am not neglecting any part of my job, when I have been requested to do things for g2k2, I have done it.

As Global GFX Admin, its my personal responsibility to review&upload heads/shields/swords globaly. I do admit that I havent been able to do that part of my job for some time. That is because the admincp based gfx reviewer has not been working for a long time. Nothing would get cleared from the queue and nobody recieved automated emails, and images wouldnt start working.. The guy they have creating the new website is going to fix that sometime though, I talked to him on debug once about it..

I thought PWAs write up reports or something :o and inspect levels and such, but when it comes to graphics, the gfx team might be better for this job. If its really just part of a PWA's job, then they're not doing enough as we still find stolen images et ecetera. o_O
