NO. Your obsolete measurement system will not prevail over the infinitely superior metric scale.

Your measurement system as in the measurement system that you support. It's not a particularly difficult concept. If they drop the weights then fine, but it's not really necessary. For all we know, gravity might be different in the Graal world.

(Note: Cap. names are key words to make people understand)

kg = UNIVERSAL
lbs = Only THREE (3) nations use.

And since Graal is a UNIVERSAL game... we use the UNIVERSAL system... if we used the other system only THREE nations would understand.

Though most players are American... There are still some players from outside of the US.... so therefore to bring gobal appeal... they use the UNIVERSAL system into use... otherwise people would be like

"wtfs does lbs mean?"

It doesn't really matter anyway. The units are arbitrary, all you need is a coherent scale.

Lbs means Pounds.
Don't ask who came up with that, probably some idiot back in the 1200's who couldn't spell/abbreviate correctly.

Anyway, who cares. "I want the last two letters to match what I want!"

Does it REALLY matter THAT much? You can't find anything else in the game more PRESSING than the issue of a few letters? God, just post every typo you see in the game in the bugs section then.

The system is fine BUT the differences between items is screwed up. For instance corn weighs like .02kj.

The American System was made when America was formed...
Which was in the 1700's... not the 1200's because a person couldn't spell.

The pounds system originated in the Roman Empire, but the pound system used today that consists of 16 ounces equaling 1 pound was made by the English in 1300's or 1400's.

The Americans never made their weight system, they just used English weight system.

Also, are you implying that no one knew how to write until the 1700's?

I'm just saying this entire arguement over kgs or lbs is really arbitrary. You're complaining and discussing over a few letters. This is a game where the weight unit doesn't even have to have any relation to our world's weight measurement systems...

Just make the weights seem appropriate...
If you're going to make a sword 20 kgs, don't make a shovel 30 kgs.

I believe Thomas Jefferson created the American system

Since Europe follows the kg system I believe the Romans did...

The english didn't use pound because that was a currency

I never said they could read/write -_-... read before you talk.

Europe didn't always follow it. We're just ahead of the Americans in switching over.

Just replace kg with "woobles"... it really doesn't matter what the unit of measurement is, as long as it's logical.
