Your theory is acceptable but your logic is intolerable. :o

Where did the sword come from? Where did the player come from? Where did everything in the game come from? Every single thing does not need a story behind it.. the game is not the real world, and it would be impossible to make it into the real world, as you would never complete it.

Hand to hand combat sounds neat and all, but most servers don't have the systems and the setup to have hand to hand combat.. like, the player would start with no weapon, walk out of the beginning area swinging their fist, and get killed again and again by people with weapons. It would imbalance the player system too much.. unless of course, hand to hand combat could equal that of sword combat, which is retarded because what is the point in even having a sword if your fists do as much damage.
