I still say they should be horses rather than gokarts. The gokart controls are great (I'd prefer them a bit faster on grass, but I'm a bastard that way), and horses fit perfectly, so why have both? Just have horses that act like gokarts, you can have horse races, set up waypoints anywhere, hit the waypoints in the right order to complete a lap, do it faster than those who started with you to win....

So lag up the server for Roleplayers with Non Roleplayers, meanwhile starving Graal 2001's events by seperating the players?

If people enjoy playing pointless mini-games and using even more pointless carts, go to Graal2001

I agree with Er1c, if you don't want to use the go-karts go ahead. Stefan obviously wants them on his 2002 server he can have them, if you don't want to play because of go-karts, so be it; don't play. Geez you guys, no one is forcing you to play he can put whatever he wants on his game. Anyways it is on an island that is totally non rp-ing so they will attract more players (none rp-ers and rp-ers). Maybe when you start you can select Roleplaying Mode

And so then the people who choose Roleplaying Mode won't have any of that stuff.

Go ahead and make a totally nice RPing server if you wish with everything you like, this is Stefan's and the 2002 team's creation; they can add whatever they want, it is not your creation so you'll have to deal with what comes out of it.

Doing so would lag up the server, it's only logical that all those games are put on Graal2001. But, it's not my company, and it's not up to me if it turns a cold shoulder on it's customers. Especially at the $40, the only thing I am looking forward to is 2230, and if that doesn't come out soon, I might become bored of waiting, because I sure as heck don't care if G2K2 launches tomorrow or in 50 years now, it's ruined... But, not my problem

What's Oasis?

2230 is a little dissapointing, it's levels have so much more room for creativity, but I supposse they're really good by Graal's standards.

Koni's server. It has an excellent tileset, more detail and a new character look.

I don't think 2002 is ruined by go karts, as long as they're nowhere in an RPing environment.

Go karts, or the non-RPing island, won't lag the server more than it already is.

Koni is shorthand for Konidias.

Konidias was THE admin on 2k1 until he quit for his own reasons.

Now he works on Oasis, his own server.

There are quite a few threads about it in PW Forum if you look.

I'm just saying that the go-karts really don't make too big of difference and it shouldnt lag it up that badly. I mean Graal2002 will make more players but will also have much rping. Don't worry the Go-Karts won't hurt rping at all.

My logic behind this is , Stefan wants things that will attract all players to Graal , not just Roleplayers . When graal2k2 is released im pretty sure Stefan is not going to advertise Graal2k1 as much and it would only be wise to make some minigames that are not even in the timesetting of 2k2.
