I dont wanna sound biest(sp?) just because i am GFX Admin on Babylon but here i go:
I really find it unfair for all of you who are outright saying Babylon sucks to judge so swiftly. We are a new server, FTP wasnt working at first, and Lord Helmut hasnt been on much untill recently for a while cause of something he did a long time back i guess.
Many servers, when they had first went up, were listed as "Under Construction" on the server list. Because we didnt go up like that doesnt mean we are fully finished or even close to it, its just because Stefan doesnt allow that anymore. I know there isnt all that much to do right now, and i keep saying that we need to finish the quest that was already half uploaded from before FTP got working, and we need more jobs and mini games opporational. For whatever reason, I was informed by Xaviar that LH has said our Kuro project is top priority. Im sorry but that just doesnt make sense Helmut...players need to be able to buy/win them and for that they need to be able to make money (i.e. jobs, winning events). Besides Kuros wont be used by everybody, so i think fixing known bugs, expanding the overworld, and uploading more quests jobs and games to be top priority; as that would benifit all.
I understand the similarities between those levels, but they arent the same, just the building is sorta similar. So Helmut maybe i guess should see about gettng that fixed, but i see no reason why a complaint on a few levels should result in dissing the server as a whole.
I myself have been with Babylon for quite some time now, and I've worked real hard, by putting in tons of hours doing graphix and more hours spent online trying to make Babylon a better place by answering questions, hosting 'some' events (lol), getting rid of trouble makers (especially people using Pie's speed trainer or whatever *sigh*), and helping as much as i can when possible.
Because of this i am offended by all those remarks about Babylons 'poor' quality when its hardly in a position to be judged fairly. I dont understand how people can be sooo shallow...Hell i've turned in many school assignments late and have been late to school alot too because of lack of sleep on those nights when i was trying to get a graphic done. I'VE WORKED HARD AND I'VE BEEN F**KING COMMITTED, BABYLON IS ALOT BETTER THAN 10 MINUTES WORTH OF WORK, PEOPLE WORK HARD ON SERVERS AND ITS SO UNFAIR TO SAY ALL THERE WORK DIDNT PAY OFF FOR **** JUST BECAUSE OF THEIR FIRST IMPRESSION OF A NEW SERVER IN A SHAKY STATE!
So yah if the level was stolen then replace it or get permission, but a few levels being used that arent original shouldnt be a factor to judge Babylon itself. And I would appreciate if you would seek permission before using any of my stuff, because i dont know if anybodys tried or not...I also dont appreciate it when people rename my pics so they dont start with 'zen' but instead 'b' or something, *cough*lordhelmut*cough*, I'd like to get credit for my work when at all possible.
