Babylon Stolen Levels
 

Babylon has so many stolen lvls i walk ot and bang...

The outside of the damn start house is my level he stole from bravo online.(it was much better also)

bang and theres also the dang graal 2001 start house the inside of it....hasnt a PW Tester seen this?

LiquidIce Adn Brandon both know that i made the outside and i did not give it to LH

It was the outside of the onlinestartlocal liquidice laoded it i just made the dang level

But bravoforest1.graal was the outside of the starthouse...

that admin house level (altered) should've been removed.

But the starthouse was still in the level.
Lord Helmut was LAt admin on there at the time. Weird eh? how that juts APPEARS on his server

when i asked lord helmut to take my thing down...he said he saw it on 4o ther servers....but that means he still took it from a server and should setill be taken down,

But I do recall seeing it there now. I thought you were talking about Bravo.

who cares? Its ONE level! Just because a level looks stolen, doesnt mean it is! People are inspired by other people's work, and they try to mimic their style. Some people dont. It all depends! I have original levels that look somewhat good, and the 1st thing outta someone's mouth is "that looks stolen" it never fails, give it a rest.

But DW, ask Brandon if he gave LH permission to use it.

Yha ok......it just looks SO DAMN simmalr.......hmm maybe ill coppy all graal 2001s levels add a flower here and there and say its mine and ask fo it to be put up as a server..

Some people do care, like I would. If the level looks exactly like level you made, and you know it's yours, because it looks the same you would want to be known for your work, not someone leeching off your work. Someone think it's an honor, but not talking to the creator of the level, I don't think is right...

Babylon is a bunch of **** to and I think that this just proves it. I was all excited from what i had heard but they let me down a lot!

Babylon was so hyped up like graal 2002 butwhen it finnaly came out the level quallity was crap and theres nothing to do. And theres a n00b mafia which is the scaryest of all :(

Some of their levels look nice, but there is to much PKing..and there is nothing to do, but Fish... :mad:

I dont know why the server got accepted i mean heck with the stolen levels and the bad quality!

That level is from the new bravo or whatever from when Brandon owned it after it went P2P. But he probably didnt steal it, just got permission from Brandon.
And Babylon is fun. :)

I think the noobs on Babylon have hit you one time to many which has messed with your judgment!

Even if it was stolen, there is nothing you can do about it by whining. Its there, too bad, boo hoo. Besides, there is no way to prove that YOU made it! For all we know, YOU stole it. I'm not accusing you of stealing it, but I'm trying to make a point.

Your opinion that it looks like something from another server is meaningless. If you look in this post, someONE has said that your accusations are not accurate.

Lastly, if you expect to be taken seriously by officials who may do something about your situation, act in a civilized manor, it gets you a lot farther than yelling and typing gibberish. Also, this isn't irc chat or AIM, so correct your typos if you see them :).

I guess i cannot convince some people of reality. Noone stole anything anyways! Those files were free to the public, with no copyrights on them. The only people that have copyrights on anything Graal related are Mr. Knorr, Mr. ******, and the rest of Cyberjourer. Unless something breaks an official rule of Graalonline, owners of playerworlds can put whatever they want on a server. They can copy everything you have that was put online on a Graal server. Unless someone went into your computer by means of trespassing, then its not stealing as far as Graal goes. It might not be moral (which I agree, it's not), but nothing can be done.

This is probably my last post in this topic.

I mean u said that anyone can out anything that is on graal up on their own server adn i agree with that like many servers now have almost the same chat system. When the skateboards were out everyone had the same one of those and they all had bugs. i guess what im trying to say is it right to "steal" from other servers what they have worked hard on because you are lazy?

Is it right, of course not! I don't agree with it, but I accept it. What I'm trying to get across here, is that people are ALLOWED to do it, whether it's wrong or whether it's right. Complaining about it does nothing, so why complain. If the owner of the server feels it's better for the server to have that particular level up, then that is what the owner is going to do.

Because this game is so free with player involvement, there is bound to be things that happen like this, as there is bound to be crime in a free society.

Look at it this way:
You are making a logo for your store. You have the GREATEST graphics and whatnot to go on your sign! Its the best anyone has ever seen. BUT, billybob down the road see's the same sign, and puts it up on his store, just changing the name. Is it legal? yes. Can anyone do anything about it? no. Is it "right" or "fair"? no.

What makes this topic even sadder, is that the server they are claiming it was stolen from, is DEAD. It is no longer alive. There have been lots of stolen levels in graal. On enigma, for example, they have a memory level of some old server in somebodies guild house. Did they MAKE that level? was it theirs? NO! Is anyone gonna do anything about it? Nope.

See what I'm getting at? The system is right, you are wrong.

Yah and when someone steals a graphic or level from graal 2001 everyone makes a HUGE deal out of it, and Stefan gets it removed...Its still a level...and it should be removed

that level is stole, i saw it myself, and i have seen a few other levels that look very much like bravo old levels remade... il ltry and get screenshots and post a few. lord helmuts work is nothing but remastered stolen work that he is giving no credit to the owners for, and babylons levels are BADLY remastered at that :-P

When it came out i whent into one level.. it was the same tiling as the admin house except the stairs where taken off :(
I informed birdbird of this ebcause it was his level -_-
