Tyhm you look at only one side. Yes everyone starts out at a free server. but if wee give free servers all the nice p2p stuff. then what insentive is there to upgrade your account? Maybe Classic should have some extra benifits (being a main server and all) but ameture p2p worlds should stay AS IS.

That's beside the point. Point is that there are certain things you should and shouldn't be able to do on a free server. Coding many NPCs isn't something that's pay-server-only, nor should it be. Using lighting effects, NPCs that walk between levels, sure, I guess...making player races, alright...but it's like making a new level editor that can do 10 levels at once, then saying it's a P2P feature. The players are never gonna know!

hehe tyhm 10 levels at once in the editor would be awkward.

you only need 9 to edit a level and it's surrounding levels at the same time.

Right, but here's the thing;
This wouldn't be giving us a new feature. Just a better way to do something we already do.

I mean, technically he could take away FOR loops, and we could just use While, but why bother? It just increases the margin of error...

i'm more into the gani! i mean servers aare very crappy if they dont have hte multi framed ani option..screw the other multi direction...i say we need multi-frameD!...also on some items such as the jumprope, is like old crap legal on on-p2p if it old....i seen jumprope on alot of servers though...

dont go off topic,
dont have anything wrong in making staff life more easy.
the players dont will notice nothing from p2p servers if RC can control the weapons database.

Do you like when you put a weapon and it goto weapons with a $ after it? well, then you have diferent versions of your weapon on your server. one of they you dont like.

forget the join command, the gani thing.
this topic was started to give idea about RC controling weapons database.

make it easy for Stefan read this topic and decide what to do.

we are vonluntaries, and i dont see anything wrong in making staff life more easy.

and sorry about my bad english.

Editing Database-weapons with rc would really make many things better. No one could see this and there wouldn't be any danger of hacking this...
People are going to P2P servers because they can see nics animations lighting effects and stuff like this. They do not interest in things like updateing weapons with rc

"Oh yay this server is so great. They can update weapons with RC WOOOOOWWW that loooks so great!! Oh why should I upgrade my account if this is possible here too"

if stuff like multiframed ganis or light effects are not allowed on non-p2p-servers I can understand very well...

you don't need to know how to implement it. Stefan does.

just being able to delete weapons from the database would be helpful. even if we couldn't change them or add them with it.
