Kaimetsu, I put Antago there as just another name, not specifically referring to Brian Bryant or whatever his name was but to J. Public Scripter. I could just have easily said Unixmad, Waar, Lycia, or Lord Chimp. But Antago came to mind.

addition:

PKing and tiling are different disciplines from scripting...PKing skill consists of bandwidth and dexterity, tiling requires skill in sticking sixteen-pixel squares together to create play areas, and scripting is a form of programming, requiring a logical mind and knowledge of the language.

with scripting there are so many aspects you can not just say "____is the best because he made this cool NPC!" one person could be better then another in one field and that same person horrible in another.

My manure was not random. Kyle wrote the bomy and bankcard, and Tyhm's done so many things I've lost count...if anyone rivals Stefan as a good all-around scripter, it's one of them. But I mean it...tell me someone who is generally better than Stefan.

Uhh... Jeff... you DO know that manure means crap right? I believe you meant manner, unless you were indeed meaning to say that your crap was not random.

Anyway, just because a person creates something does not make them master of it. If I dug a lake, would you say I was the best lake-digger there is? Stefan is good - very good - but he's NOT a god scripter. He is human, and like any other normal human, he can be outdone. So what if he made graal? It does not automatically give him godhood of scripting.

I do agree with one thing... Stefan is good, but his skill can't be pinpointed exactly.

I can script better than antago, i have a better personality too...why does he get a mountain named after him?

He invented the bomys, which have caused a good deal of money to be made. It was the least Stefan could do, name a geological feature after him. Believe me...if I could name 100 astronomical bodies, he'd get one. But he wasn't a scripter...he was a gfx guy with good ideas.

and anyways, kai, is it coincidental that you are teaching lycia? I think there's a reason you are teaching lycia, and not my friend's 10 year old brother (who still hasn't got his account upgraded)

Anyway, if he really wanted power he would just join the scripting team for Graal2001 would he not?
