it would be all in 1 class just scripting (I beleve, other wise I think it would be dumb)...

I just wanna know the rules (that should explain anyones questions then if hte rules are explained)

That wouldn't exactly be fair, considering you and Kai are "master scripters". Obviously no one will have a more complicated script then one of you to...hehe although a script I'm working on now is very hard...its goto be the most advanced script I've made...it checks so many different things in short scripts, and does many different things...can't tell what it is though, yet.

Anyway point is, if you or Kai compete then there is no reason for any other to...although I woould want to compete against Er1c, TB3, or others at that level....

Your description doesn't make sense though, how can you have a script tourny?

Loriel has shown me something that could be used
to make fair contests:

you have to code a baddie,
but you can only do what a player can do
(you say if a key is pressed: up,left,down,right,
sword). Then the baddie is
moving depending on the input you give him.

That way two baddies can fight against each other
in a fair way, and the player who scripts the
best baddy wins

there could be tournaments where all people
can watch them fighting and even if its laggy
its still fair because both npcs will be laggy

Yes hurting and such stuff would be automatic,
you only provide one function to set the
the keys[] array, everything else would be automatic

Maybe there could be different tourneys for
one-on-one, team fight, arenas with different
stuff in it (like stones so the npcs need to find a way
around it otherwise they get stuck :-)

How about the baddies would have to lift or destroy the rock in order to get around it? This would require tile checking, which is a part of scripting.

(It has t be shocharacter but like i was saying are you using the defaulkt bodys or showimg witht he baddie template)

Not any pre-selected baddies, it's baddies made from scratch.

and yea if the bots are controled would there need to be a remote control or would you just like be the bot.

like would you be a person watching the battle and controling your bot

or would you accually be the bot?

I think it would be a lot harder, but a lot funner if the player had to script the baddy to do results based on data that it gets. Basically, make the baddy-bot non-player controlled. Meaning, the player just activates it and it fights. =P

I think i can say to kjs.. that it is npc controlled you let it go and it does what was programmed.. into it based on results..

and different train fights would be nice .. stones,water,deep water,bushes.. and obsticals.. would be able to throw the objects like stones and bushes.. to hurt other baddy and even a fight wher the baddies get bombs and arrows.. cool.

1) Anyone can do that easily by combining the Baddy Skin on the New Races page with the old Mirror script...
2) I'm abstaining, of course, because anything I make that's worth keeping goes on Graal, and I can't release Graal scripts. Even if the judges wanna count scripts they can only see the effects of, ie the stuff already on classic, it's not really fair to those people who DON'T have a massive server as their sandbox. Most of scripting is trial and error...

I make lots of stuff for fun. Then I either abandon it or adapt it to Graal. =_=

Make each baddy have different attacks. Two or three different one long range one/two short range. That'd be the simplest way and best for a baddy battle I suppose.

I think it'd be easier to do non-battlebot scripts...battle bots would be hard for anyone BUT big cheeses on servers, viz. Stefan, Tyhm and the playerworld owners. So I move that this be restricted to stationaries and weapons, not requiring NPC server.
