Maybe it's just me, but I am really tired of hearing about this incident. Yes, it was big. You can't prevent what has been done, go on with your lives, let the government handle the retaliation. People stayed home from work today, for no reason, but with an excuse. All channels are broadcasting news on this 24 hours a day. You cannot hold a conversation with someone in real life without having to say something about the plane crashes. It is quite annoying...

It's an annoyance. I did not wish for them to die, but I also do not wish to hear of them dieing for days upon days. If someone close to me died, I'd go to the funeral and pay respects, of course. And yes, I would feel the same if they had died. It's not memorializing anyone specific...the news isn't pointing anyone specific out either. The press is just reporting the same stuff over and over. Even replaying footage 10 times. It's old.

He wasn't being insensitive. I agree with him. For the past two days (for Australians) it is the only thing that's been on the new. I don't really care if people mourn over this. I will not. Many others die every day and we do not mourn over them. If you knew them, that's great, mourn. If not, why do it? Yet, no one mourns for those poor, unfortunate people.

if they didn't want any sort of military reaction they wouldn't have done it in the first places you idiot. if they hit the white house then pentagon, that would have been war. it would have been very hard to get air force one, so that's out of the question. attacking world trade center was just one of the ways to elicit a warlike reaction.

Because for the simple fact it concerns all and affects all who live in the USA.It will change many things in our way of life ;things cannot go on "as usual " because of this; change has to come for the protection of its people who live here.Or maybe because your are only 15 and do not understand the ramifications

The only way it affects all of us is the destruction of thw World Trade Center and that we have to build another. Do you know what I am seeing on FOX right now? Someone is looking for their family member. Sounds sad, huh? It's stupid. I'm not heartless, just annoyed. They would need numbers to do these. Some were cowards, like canadians for instance, and some are so fearful they didn't do anything....

They were also threatning them with a bomb, and I don't think they had any knowledge of the terrorists intent...and if they did I'm sure some would do something about it. Also, some may have tryed to do something, and may have been killed...only in numbers could you overcome that, and in fear people don't think smartly...

So don't say anything bad about them, everyone has reasons...

Would you like to know why?

1) America has ALWAYS been a secure and safe place to live, this has broken that security, and it frightens many, just like the missile crisis and when they feared nuclear war.

2) It shows that violence is a real thing, violence which most people in America has never seen, also something to be scared about.

3) The fact that something like this could happen to them

4) Just thinking about the thousands of unexpected deaths, the families destroyed, the children who will wake up without a father/mother/both.
