The "high MS means really laggy" comparison doesn't really hold true on era. It's about the strength of the connection not necessarily the distance away you are from the server. Hence why brazilians lag while Europeans don't as much. Somewhat equidistant from the server, yet the Europeans can have 1st world internet while brazil is stuck with 3rd world dial up or something like that.

It always does. You know the ms in ping measurement stands for milliseconds, right? Milliseconds it takes for a server to answer a client. The longer it takes for the answer packet to arrive at the client, the "laggier" it gets, naturally.

I don't think you're getting what I'm saying, but since you've never really played era as far as I know it would be hard to explain. I can have up to 300 ms and not "eat bullets" on other peoples screens because I have a strong connection. Players with bad connections (take one of the kids from the virgin islands Danne4Life who never goes under 1k ping) will almost always eat bullets and warp around the screen.

I don't think you understand what latency is. There is no such thing as a "strong" connection.

Last time I checked, I had I believe around 1700+ hours of online time. Could be slightly off. Also, what Chris said.

You're not really making an argument here other than saying "you don't know what you're talking about therefore you're wrong"
From what I saw in the past you were a good scripter and did some cool work on era and other servers, but you're not proving anything. If you PK on Era and see the relationship between latency affecting gameplay it's not what you'd initially think. Intuitively, it makes sense that higher MS means that someone is going to eat bullets, warp, etc, but that's not the case. There really is no simple correlation between the two which is what I'm getting at. Hopefully you understand now.
