why kill v5

Well, if they don't force everyone to use new updates. They have to script things for 2 clients, or more.. and this can cause problems since some things are only possible now using V6.. so it's very problematic when people begin to complain things wont work in V5 that v5 is not even compatable with.. =/

Whats so wrong with V6 other then the lack of UDP, im rather curious how v5 is considered better to you guys.

It plays different, looks a bit different, and people had 5 years to get used to the last v5 client. People are always afraid of changes.

I don't think v6 is really worse than v5 (besides the no microphone support), but v5 and v6 are worse than what we had before (from a player perspective)

Definitely this. v4 felt more like graal in general. I think it has a lot to do with the login-screen and server selection as it doesn't feel very "graal".

better playerlist, better option windows, can actually highlight level text in peope's profiles (ya i went there), and the font doesn't look stupid

how is the playerlist any better? Both have in-game playerlist's and they both are using scripted playerlist's which have nothing to do with the actual client itself but the script.

and you can highlight the level in people's profile.. but for some odd reason it doesnt show it is being highlighted but you in-fact can.. as a scripter i have to do it often to copy level names, hopefully that can be a quick fix tho.

can't you change font???
