It seems kind of logical to me, then, that pk'ing on tag would be illegal. But, more interestingly..People are allowed to PK and run into their houses, which is the same kind of problem. Is anyone doing anything about that?

I told Alfonso like 2 months ago that he should use the door class for the spar arena (15 second after taking damage), and add it to homes and businesses (even the PK arena) because people would use these restricted areas (enter and leave to heal) in order to avoid dying, mostly players with bounties or who just like to waste your time.

It is such a simple thing to do, any level artist could switch all those door joins in 20-30 minutes.

But remember, we are talking about Era here.
