Personally, I think the server in America would be better suited on the west coast somewhere. Provided the servers hosted on that machine can keep their scripts in check, latency should not be so much of a problem as the west coast geographically would be the most central location to connect to, for your typical Era player at least.

Hosting the servers in Russia would probably get the most balanced pings across the world, and some better ones for Russian players
