I never once thought of putting 1300 people in the same level, I was trying to ask how they plan to integrate events.. or if they just won't have them.
My main point I've been trying to make is how are the going to change things to fit the playercount and stay true to the server.. It sounds impossible with a modern server, were everyone has guns, with 1000+ people on..

I don't see why there shouldn't be events. Just set a player cap and it should be fine.

I hope GameCenter doesn't freeze up the Era app randomly, like how it does to Classic.

To me, when i first log in it freezes while gamecenter is loading up, but after that.... no freeze?

I also propose multiple unsticks, since one unstick has enough traffic as is, multiple unsticks would be able to balance it out. While the 500 people are idling, the other 500 are pking

Not quite sure what your trying to say..

Another idea I could see happening is a three level system for each event. for example.. The Event house has a list of events to go to, you pick which event you want to play, then you join in on a open level of the 3 levels for said event. There would be a wait, but with short events and 3 levels to be used for each event, it wouldn't be that long of a wait..

My suggestion is make it work where you have like... twenty bots, they all host something random and there can be multiples of the events hosted but no more than two of the same and let them auto host. Only problem I see is that with a potentially large community you'll need to choose your events very wisely, perhaps even modify the living hell out of events.

Aww please Stefan just release it as it is I cant wait much longer I want to play it my whole break. You can add those features later im sure pking and jobs alone are enough to keep players very happy and not complain for at least a week.

PC version is a waste of money $30 for 8 months of a basic 2d game. Its playercount sucks. Iphone server will have 1000+ people unlike Era PC barely ever getting above 100. And you can't say that because you havent seen the ipod server yet...

Well, we're working on it every day. For the past two weeks we've been working on it none-stop. Stefan has said Monday we should all be done. Right now (this minute) we're adding important things to keep players interested.

It's worth the wait guys, I am excited about it

Nope
I've done all the levels (modified, created new etc)
Noto has done the graphics, I've modified them
and myself and Stefan have done the scripting.

only took us a month o-o

ahh hehe

Well, the scripting is all new. (Everything, nothing has been taken from Era main server)
Levels have been modified, quite alot actually. Although, they were here to begin with.
Graphics, not really touched the tileset, so that's practically the only thing thats taken from PC Era without modifications.

Alot of the stuff has been added to Classic iPhone. I designed a rotation system for Era iPhone furniture, which is now added to classic (Stefan loved it hehe)

I've really enjoyed doing this. For future Era iPhone staff it's alot easier to add things and implement things. There's practically no lag clientside and serverside. If Era main wants to use the same kind of systems it would be fun I must say hehe
