Goodbye Era, Hi Iphone Era
 

Well, I know this was going to come some time or other, I didn't think it would be this soon truth be told.

I had an issue with a PR, leading in to some nasty stuff (being banned), me being in the wrong again it seems which has lead me to this decision.

I really enjoy working on Era, because it's alot of fun. I released the snow earlier and did a better version of the betting spar today. (Enabled snowangel & snowmen)

Era Iphone has gone to Apple for testing over the next few weeks. I'll be working on Iphone from now on, no more access to the Era main world. I've decided it's best for me to step down as an admin, and no longer be staff on Era.

I would have enjoyed being staff on current Era, but the way it is going it's not looking very good. It's been great fun on Normal Era, I plan to have alot more working on the Iphone version.


Hope someone does update Era, hate to see the player count drop futher x-x

Oh, you know I will probably be back on Era in a few years haha, it's inevitable! :)

Any developer we ever get always has conflicts with the management.

I'd like to see some collaboration, cooperation, coordination in this place.

Not to mention when graal online classic came on he has 1000+ on at once, if era iphone could do that id be amazed, but would need alot of work (big gmap)

Be sure to add lots of sexual ganis in Era iPhone, the iPhone Classic players are pretty much just flirting with each other. It's absolutely pathetic. I can only imagine what will happen when items of value being traded about come into play.

But make sure to change beer.png to Orange Juice.

It's nice to see that some players trying to get at developers can't back themselves up by capitalizing the "I" in "It's", because thats how you properly begin a sentence. You didn't even add a period at the end of your sentence, if I was your 3rd grade teacher I'd be pissed.

snk was by far the best staff member that era has, since he's always been active and updating, unlike 90% of era's staff
when u had a problem u just pmed snk and he fixed it in max 5 mins
there's no reason y they havnt made him manager, and now due to PWA era has lost its best staff member
so now due to dumbasses, our managers r still the useless kinetaro and dargaro (over a month they seriously havnt even logged on) and our best candidate has now quit

PWA means Playerworld Administration and is very separate from the Era managment. Snk was fired due to the Era management...

era iphone doesn't have much potential..just think about how many buttons u press on era, where would u put those on iphone?? and how about dodging on such a small screen?? maybe it would be playable on an ipad

I agree, and even swapping weapons would be a pain in the ass while your trying to PK

Problem Solver:

The classic analog buttons, shows a different way of fighting, little "a" button, little "s" button and little "d" (Maybe bigger) button to shoot, nothing outragously big.
Scaling the bullet to dodge factor to fit on portable device. and a regular drop down menu where your stuff are. Don't expect hotkeys, stick with one weapon- for once.

Well, something I would take into consideration is at the bottom left or some area of your iDevice, you should be able to just double tap to set your hotkeys and maybe triple tap to set the gun? Idk lol, im no programmer.

I can't wait until the little kids start to join gangs. Most of them will complain when they aren't good enough to join one and start whining.

The only reason I'm looking foward to this is to bring more players to the actual Era.

Drag your finger around for movement, tap the screen to shoot, have a bar across the top or bottom that you tap to reload. Have a 50% opaque drop down inventory by dragging it down from a tab in the corner.

You could actually make it really cool with some simple crap.
But we'll have to wait and see won't we.

We are under apple testing at the moment, which means they're looking in to making it an application within the next two weeks ^^

Era iPhone will be successful because Classic players are always asking us to add guns..lol. I guess you are aware that every player will be asking you for guns, bodies, heads, etc.. :]
