The goal set is to make Eryst's game-play include levels and classes, along with new concepts that focus on the player's weapon. When the player enters the server, he or she will choose a class to start off as and a weapon of their choice (i.e. a scythe, a sword, a staff, dual wielded daggers, etc.). They will also be allowed to name their weapon, and when they level up they will be able to upgrade their weapon with the points they gain. Of course, this isn't all we have planned, but it gives you a good taste of what revolutionary ideas Eryst will institute.
Sadly, to make this happen we need your help!
Our focus right now is finding game-play scripters and graphics artists to help create the game-play system and the images needed for menu's and such.
We are also hiring level's team members to help us fill our very large over-world.
If you would like to apply you can contact me at [email protected], or on skype. My skype name is RegretZanza. You can usually find me on Eryst from 5:00 - 10:30 EST, and I will post my manager's information here as soon as possible.
Yours truly,

To add on to that, we have planned that at a certain level each class will branch off into two different classes from which you can choose, each containing different spells/abilities. We plan to have events and, once you reach a certain level, capture the flag and tower taking. We also want to have a feature that allows the player to name their weapon, making it unique, and making the game more customizable for the players. We plan to have sparring, but also based on level groups, to keep players on an even field. The same will be done for player killing, since new players will not be able to level if they are continually killed by higher level players. We plan to have a very accessible and easy-to-use user interface, with many options to help you customize your character, including our planned project of making original heads in other colors for a much wider range of character looks.
