Gangs need actual reasons to raid and have members, no one raids on gang tag because people are afraid they will get removed for doing 1 thing wrong in the raid.

Is that going to happen though? It would be the same stuff no mater how many gangs we had. Like man, there will be days and days without a raid.

More than often there are only two or three raids a week.. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

That's not even to mention how stupid they are half the time considering everyone does anything not to loose a point, like they are extremely drastic, or a benchmark. Because they really arnt at all. They are, but not in this scenario, or the scenario it ends up being during a raid.

Yeah, but the point remains. You made a topic not to long ago because of the total inactivity of gangs. It's like you'll be on for 4 +hours and still no raids. It was never like this, as soon as you'd log on you would gang tag and chill in your base till there was a raid, and usually a raid would happen within 5 minutes.

I guess there was alot more people in gangs back then, but I found that alot better back then. Now it's like you'll sit around for hours hoping for a raid, than when it happens it's the lamest ****.

Points are going to encourage laming until they are removed. Points are going to restrict newer and ”noobier” players to join gangs until they are removed. Players will continue to avoid uneven raids until they are removed. Raiding will not be about the "fun” until points are removed. Get the idea?

Like seriously when i first joined a gang i was -500 if we had a point system how are todays nubs suppose to join a gang?
Leaders will specifically not hire people because they will go -20 and "make the gang loose points"

Points should just be a measure of activity. You shouldn't be able to lose points.

Points are a give and take, if you remove them... people lose a degree of interest in raiding. If you keep them, people "over-appreciate" them, so to speak. Before points, the quarrel was no incentive.

Removing Points = No Solution
Removing Loss of Points is probably the middle-ground.

@ Take
If you want people to raid when you log on, everyone should go on tag and chill in their base like they used to. I doubt it'd take anymore than 5 minutes for someone to nuke you or come in blasting.

wild idea: make gang tags automatic, so as soon as you log on or set your nick your gang tag is on and you can't take it off.
This way you are always representing your gang and you can't go off tag.

Also would mean you can't be in a business, but in their current state who would want to be in a business anyway?

Point loss was meant to be an incentive for people to defend their own gang base. It worked for Jenns street gangs for a while, until people got bored of all the gang bases looking exactly the same and only having one level and one entrance.
