Obviously I am not a developer, but I am trying to throw idea after idea at the dev's. So if you post some ideas here, i'll make sure they read them. Just some topic starters:

New GUI? (I liked Chris's in his other thread, do you?)
New business idea?
New event items?
New events?
New gang ideas?

yeah i know chris's administration was doing something on that, and now i think Kinetaro's might be. I know i brought that up before at some point. I think that would be a great idea.

I also think its time for Era news to get finished. I am always open to new player businesses, so i hope that can get fixed this time.

I got some cool gang ideas, but because they are actually being added (from what i can tell) i'd prefer to keep them a surprise.

Bring back Era News, like instead of having the "Notice" with the "Top players/gangs/scores" at unstick, we could start making so its all in the Era Newspapers, with basic stats

i.e
Top Player Over-All
Top Gang
Top Spar Scores
Most Deaths
etc..

And maybe start opening polls for the next weeks addition,

etc.. [players can create polls if they wanted to?]

Also, this dawned on me the other day, because I personally miss just having fun conversations on Mass with the players of Era, instead of
"Selling this / Buying this " nonsense everyday...
We could have a selling / buying addition in the Era Newspaper so kids don't have to mass out All the time, they could just go get a newspaper and see what is for sale that week.

more ideas later, I don't feel like spamming.

but, Apartments / Townhouses would be a nice addition for the lowerclass of Era, make it more "City-like", instead of a bunch of Lockers everywhere..
It would also help out the furniture function :P

Different "bush" maze races, we only have one and it allows people to adapt to the routes quite fast, which makes it impossible for newer people to win at all, the ones that already have the maze memorized knows all the quick routes and finishes in less than 10 seconds. Solution could be to make two/three different ones with the same starting line but different routes. Also allowing the events team person to change them by saying something like ":race 1-3".

Categorize all events so that all races are in one section, etc.. as it looks right now everything is just spread out, I'm just saying that categorizing them would make it a little more simple to find a certain event.

There are also a few events that are done, for ex. skateboard race, which isn't on the list. There are a few unfinished events too that I think should be picked back up.

Fix up the levels for laser tag, the current laser tag levels are using classic tiles. It's always been classic tiles, but I really think it should use the current ones instead, it just looks bad to me anyways.

Snowmen contest, I'm sure there was a level for it, but there are no level that works anymore. The snow fortress works but you can't go there and do an event, people would ruin it.

(Whoever ruined the snowball fun is very mean :[ you can no longer make a snowball and leave it there, it turns into nothing after a certain time, I think it's 30 minutes. Atleast make them last for 24 hours, ATLEAST ON CHRISTMAS!) We want to make snow forts, it's something extremely fun to do on christmas, I know I'm not alone.

I've got more to write, but I'm busy now so I'll write it later.

Mars already exists, but instead of Mars we could have the people raid instead, so the people would raid their ship, or their "home". Same thing basically but if you don't like it you don't I'm not forcing you to like anything.

Could you replace the arrow function of adding money with an icon you click and a small box appears and you type in the value you want? This would make things much easier and a lot faster.

Know what be awesome? A trade channel or something so I don't have to constantly close out of 200 masses every two minutes saying the same thing. Could be implemented in a way like the alien store was. The chat system there was cool.

I'm actually writing a maze generator in Java, so when I'm done I'll hop on testbed and see if I can get it working with GS2 -- would be neat to try.

edit: also, skateboard race is a bit buggy, probably shouldn't release it as is.

Actually that was just a side project I was messing around with to improve houses..

If some one wants to do it, here's the level I was testing it with.. era_event-coin-shop.nw (not sure if it was deleted)

No pets...levels are fine but I think new ones would be appropiate, gangs don't really have themes, they are all really just about killing everyone else who isn't with them. If a ninja gang existed it would probably be called a Ninja Clan and not Ninja gang. Most of your ideas were pretty good.

He's right, unless they redid every single gun, but none of the current staff with access to guns can actually pk or balance guns, so it would just be a train wreck.

They banned me (again) for 7 days without warning (again) while I was at school (again) for no reason (again).

Apparently they think I'm someone else (snipson) who stole jkl's items.

But enough about me, they have really banned a lot of the top notch players for previous histories, and are seemingly trying harder to find any little fault for a ban than fixing the little bug to improve the server. If they want to go around banning their already decreasing player base though then they're just hurting themselves.

At this point they've had plenty of time to get their staff team prepared and briefed, no more bull****, if there isn't improvement soon PWA ought to step in again and do something. The average player count is less than half the average it was before, you could blame school but being that there is also 3x the staff and RC's now it is really more than you'd think. The server is pretty much dead at this point, it's just wrapped in a pretty numbered paper of mass staff and idlers so you can't see through to the crappy gift inside.

Oh and hey, it's October, I'll be counting down to that reset yo.

Have you not been to the era_gp-rulesroom.nw ?

At the moment the rules are what they are, no player can personally change that.

But I might say that they should be modified a bit more lenient.
Specially to the people who are on subscriptions now.

Maybe the Maximum sentence should be 1 week instead of 30 days.
Just saying... its not that fair for doing not-so-hostile things on Era that can easily be fixed with a view clicks, and getting banned for a whole month. at least they are being punished right ?

If the staff honestly feels that the player should be banned for x_amount [e.g the 30 day ban] they should report to a PWA / Global.

I try to be as fair as possible. Heck, i even mass "If you come to me admitting to previous CSTing/USDing/etc, i won't reset you, and maybe not even ban you." BUT if i have to go through logs and find out, then someone needs to be punished. People still have items from Exolia on their accounts and im sorry but im not gonna allow you to keep that if you didn't work for it.

Secondly, since the rules have had a strong punishment, nearly all illegal activity has decreased significantly. (it helps when you reward people to turn in their friends and such for CSTing/USDing)

People have an option to break the rules or not, and they know the punishments. You accept the punishment when you break the rules.

Anyways, idk about you guys, but im ready for some new event items. Anyone got ideas for some?

how about a little red team vs blue team full-on samurai war,
before the event starts you choose the 'leader' and they get to wear a special samurai hat to show that they are the leader.

Once the leader is dead, the other team wins :3

No guns, just classic-like sparring but more of Era-style.

Basically they just use nerfed "samurai swords", probably just like 5-10 dmg with no bleed.
