I was told to apply by Chris Vimes, worst case scenario: I don't get hired.
What if Chris Vimes told you to hurl your physical body off the nearest high altitude rock formation whilst drinking a shot glass of drano?

Worst case scenario: You move on to a better place (perhaps one where you're finally appreciated). We no longer have to witness a murder each time you decide to post (alas, poor English. He was a good bloke.). And look on the bright side, your ego would likely survive it all. I don't think it's possible to kill that thing.

I'm always reminded of a great quote I once read when I see your posts, Wil.

"Average people think they're not."

Quoting for truth and because I'm not wasting the effort on typing something myself.

He obviously wanted to apply. All this false bravado about "not wanting to apply anyway" just supports the fact that he is infact a complete cry baby. Why would he actually do what Chris tells him to do if he didn't want to do it? Doesn't really make a whole lot of sense, tbh.

I doubt Wil would really want PR, he generally avoids staff positions from what I've seen, and not just people not hiring him

Why did he apply then? Unless you're also saying Wil is a complete idiot for wasting his time on, what I've heard, is a pretty long application for a job he didn't want anyway.

It wasn't a long application.

Either way, time still wasted :P Though, what you just said contradicts what I read from a staff member, so I don't know who to believe.

He doesn't display his want for it though. He's personally expressed interest a number of times, at least during my management of Era, and my predecessors management under which I was the Administrator. I believe the positions he wanted the most were the Gang/Guns/Business Admin positions.
