Who is to say the updates Tig has been doing, such as change in plat weight, change in diamond price and the many other things that Tig has worked on are not Q4 updates? Not saying they are but the "dev" team or Tig as I like to call it works hard for you guys. Appreciate the updates he does bring and don't worry about things that have not been done yet.

But would you guys rather updates all at once and call it "quarterly" or would you rather faster updates but in smaller releases? Lets take alook at what was recently "released".

1. diamonds now ~250 plat to shops
2. platinum coins now have a "reasonable" weight
3. updates graphics for various items
4. part of the mudlib changed to support additional updates
5. bomboria trade now becomes no-pk

This is just to name a few Maybe they should have been waited and released as an "official" quarterly update but this list is just as big as any other quarter update.

However, "update" simply means change and does not specify to change for the good or worse. So like it or not, you guys GOT your updates be happy that there's more to come with a quarterly update (unless this is it, then please label them as so).

Sorry, I ment Bomboria Trade Center!! :x I refer to the Trade Center as just Bomboria sometimes, most of the people on the server will end up there anyways if you tell them to go to Bomboria.

Ugh, no1 said Tig doesn't work hard enough Just asking where the quarter is. These little updates recently may well have been Q4 but there hasn't been any confirmation of that. And confirmation is needed for scheduled updates or else the expectation leads to confusion. Like so...

I don't think anyone said we don't appreciate Tig. He more so or less put this on himself by setting his standards at a 4 month period update. Not to say it's entirely his fault, but as far as I'm concerned since he refuses to speak, nothing is happening. No need for anyone or him to get angry if we, the players, have no idea what is going on when there are no major updates happening when they should be.

The updates you mentioned, they are fairly minor. They're not something to honestly count as these quarterly updates that are supposed to be updates packed into 1 release.

I agree with the new kid. Tig works hard, he is hardly some lazy bum. But there is only so much he can do really.

Tig has said so MANY times. Stefan only allows so much access to GK for updates. Tig has to wait on Stefan for allot of the "major" updates. And is an update not an update small or big? It sure is. Who are you to judge what is considered an "update" I think the job belongs to the people "releasing" these said updates.

I am not saying these are updates I am just saying appreciate work IS being done. Alot of work currently being done on GK is update to MAJOR components of the systems currently in place to provide much more flexability.

I was told just recently that some of the mudlib has been rescripted since allot of the mudlib is in C++ and not GS2. Without these "little" updates the "big" updates would be much harder to produce.

We all know damn well that there will be updates released around christmas. And this is due to the Holiday. For example, last year Santa was released (I think last year) and he walked around the server and dropped presents. This is when I would start to worry about updates, not now. It would be to painstaking to make an update just to turn around 2 weeks later and make another update. Why not release this all as one, as sean is complaining about? Exactly my point.
