What Crono was talking about isn't Maloria v2, I guess you could call it v1. And v1 was indeed quite boring. I have hopes for this new Mal though. Still think it could be better than Zodiac, which is something :P

I don't understand why people keep comparing Maloria with Zodiac. What we have in mind won't be even the slightest similar to Zodiac.

Because both were (are?) RPG based? I'll reserve my full judgement till it's progressed further and Classic accounts are enabled.

They do the same with our project on N-Pulse. I guess the term "RPG" is to blame.

I've seen Maloria, and experienced it in the past. It's not something to compare Zodiac to. Zodiac has it's own great things, as well as Maloria. They both are truely of RPG servers, but has a lot of differences. We'll just have to wait until Maloria comes out. :]

I wasn't comparing Maloria to Zodiac.
I was just simply expressing that I do not wish to see Maloria go down the same path as another RPG server has, which is trying to make the server like MMORPGs we aren't allowed to discuss on the forums.

Well, if I wanted to play MMORPGs we aren't allowed to discuss on the forums, I would do just that and not try to replicate the game on Graal.

That's why I don't play Zodiac, I rather play the original game, Naruto, LOL

So ok, we've gotten pretty far, and in the process we decided to release our abandoned "Lighthouse" project. Instead of doing what we wanted to do with it, it'll remain released in it's current stage - which I think is the hardest puzzle on Graal to this date.

I urge people to logon Maloria and complete the first "Kill 10 blobs" quest (to get access to Lighthouse on the map) and try it out and post your thoughts. I guarantee you're in for a challenge

If it was hard - Yes.
If it was buggy - very much.
I didn't bother completing it since it was way too buggy for my taste.

edit:
floor - 1 is ok
floor - 2 if you stand by the hole the traps doesnt activate
floor - 3 was quite hard but done
floor - 4 somehow the last trap didnt hit me so i passed it
floor - 5 the top way, doesnt activate if you stand by the middle hole\the bottom left corner traps didnt hit me at all when they clearly did.
floor - 6 the first trap is not working.(i stopped here cause the ob mode killed me)

When i started the tower I was just making it for fun. I didn't know classic had some other quest resembling it or something.


Ive been editing the levels 4-5-6-7 today acutally. I peronally tried every stage and was able to pass them all. Not without falling but they are now all 100% possible and tested.

just really really hard, hopefully.

Its basically jsut there for kicks and giggles. If you have been playing graal a long time usually you will do better of course.

well got to the end of floor 6 and got on ob mode, when i came back the trap pushed me off before i had the time to do anything
