You don't have to be dev to make a difference. I'd like to think many of the non dev have made a difference into era. Which shows you do not need dev skills to necessarily make a difference. For example:

-Zoo, was an active and loyal eta
-Squirt, Loyal and active GPA

and i think some of the FAQ's deserve some recognition too. Rachel, Sigma, and Nataxo, are really active FAQ's.

(I didn't feel like naming the active Et's and Gp's but you get my point <3)

When your a new player to a server you don't care about who the dev team is. You care about who the people are thats going to be helping you. Having the people mentioned above im sure helped many new people come to Era, just as having great dev work does. Okay with my shout outs aside, I think Deophite is a great manager, and im not saying it becuase im staff; im saying it because so far he has been there when the money was spawned, when items were spawned, and such. He's active on Era, which is an important feature for a manager. He may not always be on player, he is always somewhere to be found, whether its on RC, or im sure on AIM. We have had managers that are Devs and fail, so having Dev skills make no difference.
