Disapointed With Christmas

Want to be the first to point out that I'm very disapointed with the Christmas updates this year.

The altered dropships look lovely, but the time could have been spent elseware. Also, the fact that it's hard to read all colours of text now is rather annoying and has been bothering everyone.

The ChristmasRifle GFX looks amazing, thank you Ceserthen. And thank you to whoever created the GANIs for it.
Aside from looks it needs some work, as you can really tell it was rushed, heres what could be done:
-New Stats
-New S/D function, at LEAST a power shot on "D" key. Something new and creative would be cooler though
-The "Equip" gani is obviously incomplete. Don't release a weapon thats incomplete
-Its overpriced to hell

Santa is back on Iricia, yippy didn't we see that last year?

I just feel more work could have been done this year. What are your thoughts?

Directed at the Admins, other then Santa from last year, what did you do to contribute to Christmas 2008?

i believe one of the gfx staff made the whole changes at the dropship, they only had to implement it...

I agree with Jesse, thesse updates sucked. Why don't put time into it. I would rather see xmas rifle out in 1 week then have it come out like craqp. And honestly the updates were not good. You goood of done much much better.

Hey, at least you got some updates. Some servers (like Classic) just stuck up a winter tileset on the overworld and left it at that.

instead of making pointless weapons they should bring something out that may make the game more fun for everyone, instead of just people with mummies with big wallets.

a new and more diverse planet, like the events planet or assault planet. god dan gets paid to run zone and the playercount only gets high when the ETs do their job.

I agree.

I was thinking, the updates were bigger, more and better.
But that isnt.
The new weapon looks nice, but i dont see a D effect, other then that, a great Christmas, but next year/events, could be better in my opinion.

i think its ridiculous that a paid staff member now and we get half assed unfinish weapons, and only reason we got a good gfx was because of jesses good idea, i know dans busy and all that but we should expect a BIT more from a paid staff member.

Christmas is the most important day on zone..
The updates:
Snowmans: Copied from last year
Cakes: Same story
Santa : Same Story
Xmas cookies : Same story
The dropship: New and nice
They were to lazy to make an gun at their own..Cesrthen did.
And the most important:
There were no events!!!!!!!!!

No... That was part of an Event there genious. "Christmas Graphic Event" Although I'd imagine one wouldnt have been made if it wasn't for that Event.

There were no Events on Christmas Day obviously, that'd be stupid. The 2 on 2 Spar Tourney for some nice prizes is tomorrow.

I feel a need to post this. What does it matter if you feel administrator's did not contribute properly? At this point, little is going to be done about a bad Christmas, other than to plan for the next one.

The best thing that can be done is for the development team to focus on the future to ensure that next year's Christmas is not a letdown, much like this Christmas proved to be.

It is also important for Dan to know what his players think. I see nothing wrong with Jesse posting his opinion and wanting an explanation. It's totally understandable.

Maybe most of the events team where busy by these days. Like me, I was on vacations for a week, Zen was going on a trip too. Not sure about the others plans but I'm sure they weren't free 24/7 this week.

the snow in the dropship looked awesome, and was one of the few christmas/winter things we had this year.

These are persons a ET can add and they have ET rights on the planet the ET added them. Basically they host what you tell them on that planet. Like trial ETs

Though right now Jesse tells us who we can add to help us host. Belive the current ones are Dsk and the rookie.

I'd love to give you a "change" Jesper, as well as everyone else who puts in an application. But to be blunt, you all suck at writing applications and don't know jack neccessary for the job, maybe 1/4 of it tops.
Theres 3 Sections to the Events Team application, GP/Forums/ET. USUALLY people get the Forums part right, but when they get to the GP/ET part, its just walls of text with a bunch of wrong answers.

How can I hire only my friends? I think I make it QUITE obvious that I dislike a good, 98% of you. I think that makes me an extremely unbias person to hire players.
And finally... Whats the problem with hireing oldbies? Aren't I supposed to hire people who have a wide knowledge of Zone and have been playing for a while? Jeeze you didn't think that one through.
