Repeat this process while you're going through the levels, as well as take ideas from players if they have any good ones.

That's called incentive. It's so users have incentive to upgrade. Cyberjoureurs utilize irritation for incentive, much like Microsoft does with their "Genuine Advantage" scheme. There are other equally effective means, but that is the one they chose for their server. I don't think we have much play with it.

You have only offered a process for deriving ideas of my own, I am still very happy to hear yours. But don't forget that I did not simply walk on GK one day and suddenly become staff - I had to play, and that was long before there were as many nice people as there are now. Things were much less "friendly" back then.

nah, theres not nearly as much plat as there used to be. no one can even afford to buy diamonds anymore. i remember hiding stacks of 50k plat behind buildings so staff wouldnt find it on my acc, that was years ago though ;p

I think it's safe to say that there is more plat now than ever before - so much that plat is actually worth a bit less than it used to be (which was pretty bad to begin with).

Well I started out nublike a couple weeks ago, and I'm now level 11 which is strong enough to start killing lords if you've got a good blessed bow. You get a friend to bless your bow to +4 Gov, get a +3 bile or however many dagger, and you're in business. I also had a random complete stranger gift me a RoT and a RoF. Saffon gave me evil bomy lord helmet +3. I find and sell a lot of diamonds, then buy scrolls.

I will admit you do have to have help leveling up at first. I had people stand still while I slowly killed some wolfs and such... that's what I think is the biggest problem for noobs, not owning a ring of war.

That's good to hear - we're trying to move towards a more "community" style of play; where groups of players work together rather than individuals working on a single goal.

if thats what "you guys" are moving towards then make a goddamn worthwhile group system and make some content that requires teamwork, not someone (me for example) with a hook of bile+12 that can kill anything in 1 hit. what keeps people playing a game is the fact that there is something they havent achieved yet. people quit gk because its the same bs over and over again. even if you leave for 3 years and come back its the exact same ****

Being able to one-hit monsters with a Bile weapon is based on your physique level and WC more than anything else. And, no one can bless Bile +12. It's not even possible on GK to be able to bless that high (and prepping the weapon with a bunch of EWs would be dumb).

GK might have MORE categories, but the depth of those categories is close to null.

Well GK won't change as long as staff won't change anything regarding balance in favor of 10-15 hardcore players, sacrificing a possible growth of the server to far more players.

It's been like that in 2004, 2006, in 2008 and probaply will still be in 2010 if the game still exists by that point of time.

Popular pk'ing items (other than RoWs) aren't godly rare items. There's a lot of balance on GK, and, the thing is, in a leveling game, you can't have much "balance"

To top it off he's here telling me I don't log on... I think anyone who actually plays Graal Kingdoms knows better than to take his statement seriously - but sadly we get this sort of behaviour all too often.

EWs make the blessing more effective, which increases biles chance to kill things in 1 hit (not to mention it also raises your wc) and i put 9 EWs on a hook of bile+3. you fail.

being able to kill anything in 1 hit ruins the opportunity for grouping. and you cant even see whos in your group without going into some ms dos looking bull****
