but doesnt it affect europeans in the same way?
they had to pay less euros when it was based on the dollar

No, because they are charging euros now, so they can afford to lower the price.

Gold bundle used to be $48 USD (a year). Now it's around $55-$60.

Not sure about euros.

Also, you can't just buy a playerworlds package, so I've also got to pay for a zone subscription, a kingdoms subscription, and a classic subscription when I upgrade.
