Is USD-trading made illegal in all other MMORPG's?
Because I see it all over eBay... x.x

Maybe the rules for that are strict enough as it is? The main idea is to know that GraalOnline won't support/help you for such trades, even if you get scammed.

You can lower the rate of scamming by making it less worthwhile to take a **** on your own reputation for items. You do this by fixing the game.

Good idea, simple, yet effective, however cant people just lie about whether or not someone is scamming? This might make their trading lives alot harder for no reason, but i believe the majority of the public will use this service well and we'll actually be able to see who we can trust/not trust in trades.

Tip: One should always check item values before engaging in a trade; take higher precautions with high value trades - obvious.
Never entrust your items to another player, they cannot be reclaimed if that person chooses to keep the items. After all, you did accept to a 'trade' not a loan contract...

Thats just a tip for anyone who still doesn't know. I did actually mention that it was obvious in my post
and that should have also indicated that people should already know this stuff.

It's a terrible idea. I'd be pissed off if the kingdom I'm in was removed or forced to merge.

Voting no:

1) Staff turn around time will probably be slower than expected, especially after a player experiences a loss

2) There are already secure item trading facilities, and if they ever glitch or fail the staff already correct the error (as best they can)

3) This will result in more people being more gullible. "If you just let me borrow your ____ I'll give you ____ and if I cheat you can just tell staff" except by then it's changed hands 12 times.

Well that's definitely true, maybe they should hire someone with the specific job of dealing with scammings/restores.

Only Stefan can restore items and I don't think he will give these rights away to someone anyhow.
But I don't think this really matters because in most of the cases there is no need for restoring items. We only restore items (just talking about scamming now) if a bug was abused to scamm someones items. This is the only situation... It happened about a few days ago the last time. Before that it was a year and even more ago something happened that we had to restore items because of scamming.

So yea lets hire someone to wait a year to restore some persons items, waits another year and does it again etc. Go for that! (irony of course..)

you should have called the fbi as soon as i came back

but seriously, anyone stupid enough to get scammed deserves it, i said it before. graal is one of many mmorpgs where its easy (and worth it) to scam.

besides, if you lend someone an item and they dont give it back, you cant expect staff to just come to your rescue
